It looks like Brad Pitt did not phone Jennifer Ansiton after all to tell her that he is becoming a proud papa. According to Aniston's rep, Stephen Huvane, Brad did not phone Jennifer to give her the news.
Speaking to TV's Extra, Aniston's rep, Stephen Huvane, corrected reports that Pitt had spoken to his former wife (of 4 1/2 years) before PEOPLE broke the story on Wednesday that he's expecting a baby with Jolie.While this does make Brad seem a tad cruel, the couple did just end their marriage, I have one question. Why on earth did Jennifer Aniston's publicist have to release this statement? I have a sneaky suspicion that someone's playing the sympathy card here."All the reports about phone calls between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are all made-up lies," Huvane told Extra.

maybe her publicist was just responding to all the rumors and inquiries about the alleged phone calls. those stories really have been everywhere, it's just like any other publicist for any other celeb denying a rumor.

Sandy...actually I was in similar shoes as Jen. My ex-hubby, hooked up with a gal 2 mths after we split, married and had a baby, all within 14 months. This stuff DOES happen to regular people. Only dif is that we don't read about it in rags (which, admit must be hard...but Jen says she does read it, yeah, sure. But regular folks do hear about it LOTS through mutual friends. Same thing, just different worlds we live in than celebs.
If Jen was REALLY into VV, she won't care. Only if she is still in LOVE with Brad will she care She'd feel wistful about what could have been and perhaps regretful, but not REALLY care.
Some people mourn the lifestyle they had with that person, but not the actual person - which is what I think Jen is doing...misses being Mrs. Pitt more than she actually misses him.
