Beyonce is looking fierce. Her booty is looking fierce as well, and it should be. The term she coined for her hit "Bootylicious" is going to be included in the dictionary, and Beyonce is not happy about it.
Bootylicious, the term coined by the former Destiny's Child star for her own dangerous curves - and made famous by the hit single of the same name - will reportedly be added to the dictionary.But the Naughty Girl singer is not too impressed by her newfound status as a wordsmith.
"I'm not very proud of that. It's in the dictionary - it's crazy," she said to Britain's TV Hits magazine.

I agree with Beyonce .. bootylicious should not be in the dictionary. I want to know what dictionary thou ... if its gonna be in the slang dictionary then fine thats cool. Otherwise it should not step foot in a dictionary. Anywho she is lookin mad sexy in them pics. You go Beyonce !!

From what I remember, there are guidelines for when something makes it into the dictionary. It must be in the common lexicon. It must be used five times or more, in print, and in context; for example not "bootylicious might be in the dictionary" but rather "Beyonce is bootylicious!" They have to be respected print sources too - The New Yorker as opposed to Hustler, for example.
(Can you imagine the New Yorker printing the words "Beyonce is bootylicious!" in earnest?! Hehehe)

I don't see why she would get mad anyways. She wasn't the 1st artist to use the word "bootylicious". Snoop Dogg used it back in 1992 on "F*** Wit Dre Day" Off of Dr. Dre's Chronic CD. The lyrics go:

Destiny's Child song didn't come out till 2001.

Too late! The word bootylicious has already been added to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Beyoncé Knowles has said that her definition of the word is "beautiful, bountiful and bounceable."
And yeah, once a word or phrase becomes widely used and employed and becomes part of the cultural lexicon, it becomes legit. Soon, every word of hip hop origin will be in the dictionary. What will become of the Queen's English then??....

Beyonce didnt make that word up. I heard Snoop say it first. Maybe to white people she made it up, because you know they are behind time anyways. But being that white people love the overrated singer they will give her credit for stuff she didnt even do. And her body is garbage. Did ya'll know that she got liposuction and her butt done.
