Mariah can put on the most expensive dress and still make it look cheap. She walks cutesy and seems self-conscious most times. I think her emotional melt-down left long-lasting scars. She doesn't seem very strong or secure. But I wish her well.

I have great sense of style I don't copy anyone I was rocking the big glasses back in 94 (emanuelle khan) black ones I was 17.... I used to shop from sales a bergdorf to fleat markets and vintages places all over queens, brooklyn manhattan .. for the last 8 yrs of my life i've been shopping at madison ave at full prices ..of course I always look for bargains I value my money you don't need to throw money around to look good ...(since a young age people admired my style from H.school to co-workers ,friends, famous people important people in fashion industry (but i don't need anyone telling me so ...(thanks) I know what works on me and I love fashion and looking good
but I'm not a rich nyc or ct rich women type maybe one day soon ...

I take it back, what I said. You CAN be poor and have class, because class has everything to do with the good things your parents planted in you--your beliefs, values and morals.
When I said poor, I meant people who have never had nice things. Really poor people are trying just to get by. They usually don't concentrate on fashion, style, etc and wouldn't know how to put themselves together for a star-studded event. That's kind of how I see Mariah. I think she probably grew up having very little and never dreamt of her current riches. When she dresses up, she goes a little too over the top.
I don't think Jennifer Lopez grew up with wealth either, but there's something about her style that's natural and not confused. She dresses confidently, like she totally knows what she's wearing. You can tell that she wears the clothes; the clothes don't wear her. She has probably always been into fashion and what looks good on her.
In general I think that classy people are aware of where they fit in the scheme of life and have a strong sense of themselves.

Mariah does not make a dress look cheap. If she has then let me know when she did becuase I find that hard to believe. Also, there is nothing wrong with smiling a lot. How do you know she isn't just happy? She doesn't always have a smile showing all of her teeth, maybe for the cameras but that's it. Any other time it's a grin. Nothing wrong with that.
Overall, Mariah is not a slut and sure as hell doesn't look like one.

However, I've been through many pages of gossip rags and have seen her in the fashion section time and again in all kinds of overly flashy get-ups. A lot of her clothes are not the most flattering for her.
I remember some years back when Mariah was at an award show. It was some kind of show like the Billboard Awards. She was up in the stadium seats and had to walk a good distance down to the stage. It took her forever because she could barely walk in what she wore. Her heels were way too high and the outfit was most inappropriate. It was the most embarrassing moment because you knew that audience was snickering as she walked. The girls were all talking and laughing about it the next morning at work.
Mariah has a lovely smile. I know she's thankful for her blessings and is probably happy, but constantly breaking out in a huge grin comes across as less genuine. Mariah just needs to be herself. Who cares what other people think?
