Fresh off his recent arrest in Florida for contempt of court relating to that whole thing where he was allegedly filming underage girls, Joe Francis is in trouble again .
"Girls Gone Wild" porntrepreneur Joe Francis has been indicted on federal tax evasion charges, for illegally deducting over $20 million in phony receipts from previous tax returns.As first reported by thesmokinggun.com, court documents say Francis transferred millions of dollars from an offshore bank account to a U.S. brokerage account. If found guilty, Francis could face 10 years in prison and $500,000 in fines.
At this point he just should just have a big black top hat and a large mustache to twirl and tie chicks to railroad tracks so that Mighty Mouse can rescue them because he's INHERENTLY EVIL. Or just money-grubbing and incredibly stupid. Remember on "OZ" when the Aryan guys would make a guy dress as a woman with makeup and shit and parade them around as their latest rape victim? I think he'd be perfect in that capacity. I'm sorry, ever since I heard him regaling Howard Stern with his sexual conquests, I've thought he was a tool. Then again, his conquests were Paris and Tara Reid. That's sort of like conquering a child's sand castle. That's already been dissipated by the tide. On another note:
Joe's defense should argue that he's not to blame for his actions because he's not a fully evolved homo sapien and use an X-ray of that cro-magnon brow as evidence.

It seems to me pretty likely the underage girls are scheming golddiggers. I don't see any allegations of any force used. Maybe their IDs should have been better checked, but that's about it. I don't see why they should get one dime.
Another point -- why does anyone have to pay for water in jail? Is that regarded as some kind of "extra"?
And why is it illegal to be given your prescription medicine while in jail? That should not have been an issue to begin with.
I don't know how to interpret the news coverage when it says stuff like, "Francis was ordered to settle the lawsuit". A judge can push people to settle, with little comments, maybe not on the record, but in my state courts, I don't think a judge is allowed to "order" you to settle. If they were allowed to do that, then why couldn't they also order the terms of the settlement? And if they can do that, then how is it a "settlement" as opposed to a judgment?
It seems like a fundamental abuse of free speech and a lot of other basic rights. If the allegations of the bribery are true, then Francis has screwed things up for himself, but I am not at all sure they are not a pack of lies. Your sheltered people don't seem to know this, but plenty of cops lie all the time.

Good point, but my guess is that it wasn't a judge that "ordered a settlement" but more likely a brilliant columnist that confused the facts in a simple twist of words...imagine that :)~
