Yesterday we reported on those ridiculous photos of Lohan and another girl playing with knives and looking coked-up. You can view them here. Some of our eagle-eyed readers pointed out that the other chick looked like former foul-mouthed MTV vj and Nick Lachey shawty Vanessa Manillo. And they were right! It looks like these pics aren't going to exactly help 'Nessa's career path. What's also not going to help is the fact that she's barely clinging to C-list and acting like a diva bitch all over the place. Honey, keep in mind you're in the same category as Martha Quinn and Kennedy. You date a famous guy, so you MIGHT be almost to Downtown Julie Brown. But not quite. Recognize. Vanessa's contracts with "TRL" and "Entertainment Tonight" expired in April and she didn't renew either.
One of the photos from last summer shows Minnillo pulling down Lohan's tank top. Another shows her with face upturned, eyes closed and lips parted, as if about to kiss the wild child, who is now 20 and in rehab.Last week, she co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City with Mario López without incident. But the beauty is gaining a bad rep in the TV industry for her diva-like behavior at work and hard partying outside the studio.

When producers flew her to Los Angeles to cover the Grammys, "she was extremely high maintenance," said one source. "She insisted they fly her own hair and makeup people and her personal assistant out with her every time she flew to L.A. She only flew first class and stayed at the Four Seasons, and then she didn't want to work."Vanessa wants to be a celebrity, not interview them," said the source. "She wouldn't conduct post-show interviews because she wanted to party. She expected to be paid a full-time salary for a part-time job."
Page Six spotted Minnillo at one of the fall fashion shows changing seats for 15 minutes until she was satisfied. She's been known to bark orders at cocktail waitresses and cause scenes when she goes club hopping at night.
Ugh. She now lives in L.A. with Nick Lachey, hoping for a movie career. Good luck. And now she's in pics with the Snow Queen, menacing people with knives. She's going to be missing those screaming teenagers of "TRL" real soon. Even the ones from Skokie, Illinois with the retainers.

Incidentally, I feel really bad for Lindsay. I hope she meets some better friends soon as opposed to wannabes who are being paid under the table to set her up for embarrassing photo ops i.e. "DJ Ronson"...and now, obviously, Minnilo.

hmmm, i always thought Lachey kept his nose pretty clean (no pun intended) but hasn't he been with this chick for over a year? either he's is completely blind, or a coke-head on the DL. i kinda feel for Nick though, he went from an air-head to a crack-head.

I admit it, I want diversions from global warming and war as well. But at the cost of girls' like Linsday Lohan's mental stability and stealing her right to go through periods of personal development in private? Her being an actress shouldn't make her have to give up that right. After participating in this blog...I'm going to steer clear from the hype...

Never cared for VM. She always seemed bland in a fake kind of way - perfect hair, perfect makeup, bland boring brunette Barbie doll. I think it's hysterical she's in these photos. I was getting sick of people making fun of Lindsay for the pics, and not VM when it was obviously her. Let her catch some grief for them now, too.
I don't see what the big deal is about the pics anyway. A lot of young people do dumb things, pose for stupid pictures. However, VM isn't that young, she should have known better.
Hopefully, Lindsay will get rid of all of her C and D-list friends and start anew when she gets out of rehab. I'm rooting for her. She is a breath of fresh air in the midst of all of the plastic people. At least she has personality and doesn't hide who she is.

I don't like Lohan, I think she's a total skank, but I fail to see what the big deal is about these pictures, as far as Manillo is concerned. I take it when all you saintly saints go to parties with your friends, you all behave yourselves with the decorum of a church lady? You've never acted goofy and had some pictures taken that might later appear questionable to people who weren't at the party? For all any of you know, they could have been talking about Pirates of the Caribbean or something and just decided to take some pirate pose pictures for fun. I know Lohan is an undisputable mess, but I don't see why people hate on Manillo so much. So she gets tipsy easy and has a dirty mouth. Big deal. So do lots of perfectly nice girls. I bet she'd be a blast to hang with. Just because you drink, swear, and don't necessarily feel compelled to pour on the sugar to complete strangers you bump into doesn't mean you aren't a nice person.
