I'm faggoty enough to be all excited about this. I need to get over it. Justin Timberlake spoke out about his collaboration with Madge and what it sounds like.
Justin said: "Some of the dance stuff hasn't the in-your-face energy of "Hung Up" but it's got this mellow R'n'B thing on top of dance accompaniment which Timbaland is doing the beats for."It's all still in demo phases and I don't know if it'll be an album but four or five songs will make really good records."
Madge can get in my face with her zombie hands anyday. If she wasn't ripping off the young people's sounds to boost her career, it would be like something old and traditional and wonderful had died on us. Madonna's re-inventing herself through theft is like the Sox at Fenway, and fireworks at Fourth of July, and Arbor Day! America the Beautiful, why does Madonna sounds like Nelly Furtado all of a sudden?

I hate to point out that I also read Perez... but you've got the same pictures up as he posted (and I think his post was up first)...
Frida says:
Of course, I have to ask, when will M announce that she is all pregnant and stuff with the lovechild of JT?
Bees says:
Please. She's made a career out of "ripping off young people's sounds." She ripped off young people's sounds when she was one of them. She's usually about 2 years behind the curve so that's always amusing. Remember that album she did with Willam Orbit. Sonic comedy gold.

I love the lady and I must disagree with Bees. Madge is usually 5 steps ahead of the pop culture game. What I don't get about this album in the works is why everyone is calling it "something new for Madonna" simply because it's hip-hop. Did everyone forget Bedtime Stories?? That album was overall R&B with definite Hip-hop undertones... Also there was the Missy Elliot collaboration for the Gap commercial and the American Life single, AND check out any maxi single from Erotica and you will find a Hip-Hop remix. There's no uncharted territory left for her, and because she's done it all, I think it's mighty brilliant of her to collaborate with the younglings (well, except for Britney maybe...) to keep her sound fresh and in the ears of the kids who buy the records and drive the market.
