I don't find her news entertaining anymore. She is a tragedy unfolding. I think she is pretty disconnected with reality these days and she has lost her way.
Those photos of her exiting that toilet are sad. She is posing for the paps there, and they are just another pack of vultures ready to use her to make a buck and she can't even see it.

Did she remember to crack a window for the kids or is that just for when she will take longer than an hour...

J. Harvey-not going to "bitch" at you, it's your job-and you are good at it... but I whole-heartedly agree with green cardigan...Britney has become some kind of Shakespearian Tragedy...that doesn't end. I have a brother who is mentally ill with a dual-dx of drug abuse. What I saw him go through is pretty close (from what I've seen) to what Britney is going through-minus the cameras. I'm sure her parents/family want to help, but if she won't let them (most likely because she doesn't see that she has a problem), then there really is very little they can do aside from be there when the fall comes...and it will.

stolidog - I agree that she is not 'mentally ill' but I reckon she is severely depressed and 'self medicating' with God knows what, to try and make herself feel better and happy.

Stolidog...and you know this for certain because? I'll give that if a person does enough coke, for a long enough period the 'little green men' will come but it's kind of a chicken/egg argument because either way, she needs professional help.

We all know the woman is having a total meltdown, and it is probably a drugs/depression combination. Do more drugs to feel better, come down and feel worse, do more drugs...endless cycle. But you can't help someone who does not want the help. I wish they'd quit taking her picture because it makes her still feel relevant. She needs to hit bottom so she can climb out of this pit she's in. And those poor babies, they are so cute and surely terrified of all the cameras and frenzy going on around them.

It certainly does seem like she's in public restrooms more than most people, and those are places you usually try to avoid whenever possible. Not to mention that the restroom is there as a convenience for customers of the restaurant and not for random folks off the street. It's awfully rude for her to disrupt a place of business and not spend any money, but I sense that the concerns of other people don't enter into Britney's thought processes that often.

She had one of the photogs bring go get her some 'personal items' and bring them to her while she was in the bathroom.

She is soooo inappropriate.

If you see the video, you'll realize why she asked that. She asked one of the photographers to help her to her car, so held her hand, but at the same time he turns his camera on her and starts walking backwards.

BTW, the kids were in the car with one of her friends.

...kind of what I was saying yesterday, Chaz. She didn't learn how to navigate socially as a child/young adult. I'm sure that consideration for others isn't something she had drilled into her. For all practical purposes, she is socially retarded...

I don't think her behavior is due to that much drug use.

Instead, it appears that she is perhaps a little bit retarded. Both intellectually and socially. And I think she would be just as "damaged" even if she had lived a normal life. However, since she was an entertainer, she was spoiled and never had to learn any normal-life responsibilities.

Because she is a little slow, it was imperative for her to be controlled her entire life. She can't manage on her own. And now, since she is trying to control her own destiny, she is failing miserably because she just isnt capable of doing it herself.

Someone needs to explain to Brit-Brit and apparently Stephie, that if it doesn't cover your @ss, it's a shirt, not a dress.

If Brit Brit lived paycheck by paycheck like the majority of Americans do, I think she would be a little more put together. She would have to in order to make ends meet. She made a lot of money in a short amount of time, she doesn't need to get up in the morning to support herself, no one's listening to her music, what else does a girl have left to do other than start a coke addiction and skank up a Quiznos. She can get out of the spotlight any time she wants to... she's too much of a money hungry attention whore to do so, she said so herself (not in those exact words, but the meaning's the same).

I honestly think that at this stage Brit Brit can't get off the treadmill. The paps hound her but she certainly seems to feel validated by the attention in some way, no matter how negative. It probably makes her feel important and worthy.
Her life is probably empty and lonely.

It's such a shame because she has everything. 2 lovely children, youth, looks, hard earned money.

Is it possible that the girl had to go to the bathroom and the 3000 paps constantly surrounding her just followed her in there hoping to catch her doing something that they can make money off of???
