"American Idol" superstar Carrie Underwood has a new album coming out, so the publicity machine is in full effect. She's obviously releasing details about her failed romance with Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo to spice up her backstory. Word is that she axed him because he actually cared about winning games for the cowboys and not hanging out with her at the mall or something.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and the country singer briefly dated earlier this year, but the romance ended when Romo was criticized for paying too much attention to his personal affairs.Underwood tells Entertainment Weekly, "He is about football. ... I don't think he's at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football.
"He hated so much that people thought he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do so well."
Does this mean she vandalized football's truck for being the mistress she couldn't compete with? These "American Idol" hags are a dime a dozen. And they're endless. They're like the brooms in that Mickey Mouse cartoon where he's the sorceror's apprentice except the brooms are repressed homosexuals or wear a lot of cami tops and are completely controlled by their record companies and focus groups.

Uh, isn't she all about her music? Guess she is not at the point to sacrifice that?
Steph says:
You know, I used to feel the same way about her, just another idol chump.
Then I saw her open for Reba Mcentire at the Merrit Mountain Music festival in BC, Canada. Carrie did her own version of Skid Row's "I remember you", then she busted out "Sweet Child O' Mine" I can't help but love her after that!
Your blog is great BTW, love your wit! Mwah!

The Seventh Stranger says:
I do not like Carrie Underwood. There is merit to the thought that she was detrimental to Tony Romo's on-field performance. Having rid himself of her,
Romo has been consistently productive for my fantasy football team this season, even when he throws five INTs and loses a fumble.
Good riddance, Carrie Underminingwood.
