As you and the rest of the world know, Britney Spears' younger sister Jamie Lynn is knocked up to the hills and back. Jamie, 16, is (or was) the star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" and the babydaddy was initially announced as her 18 year old on and off again boyfriend Casey Aldridge. There was some talk that Casey could be guilty of statutory rape, but he seems to be in the clear. But now there's reports that he might not even have donated the sperm. There is now speculation that the real father might be an older television executive who oversees her show. When did Nicklelodeon get so tawdry? Does anyone remember "Pinwheel"? Teenagers weren't getting knocked up on that show. Then again, puppets can't conceive. "Star" magazine is reporting that Casey Aldridge is being paid off with copies of "Blackout" to take the fall for the older guy, who would most definitely be pinched for statutory rape. In face, it looks like Jamie Lynn and Casey Aldridge were actually kind of over and out after he revealed to her that he had a pregnancy scare with another girl. This gets juicier and juicier. And the kicker is? Still not as gross as her older sister.

I am no follower of Jamie Lynn Spears but this is getting really interesting. A teenager taking the fall for a dallying Nicklelodeon exec? With a sixteen year old in one of their shows? OMG. Is the mother going along with this? And hasn't the father flown the coop from all the scandal? Wow and wow. Combine this with big sis and you've got the seediest soap ever.

Sex between a 19 and 16 year old? If it's consensual I see no problem with it.
Sex between an older network executive and a 16 old? Consensual sex? It's straight out of fantasy. Especially if she's acting the role of the show. And of course it definitely was consensual - and therein lies my problem with this.
In my opinion, the girl knew exactly what she was doing and probably initiated the activity. Punishing the guy, whoever it is, just shows what's wrong with the country. So she'll lose some advertising and some TV deals. So what? What are the parents doing about their promiscuous child? Nothing.
