Britney Engaged to be Married? NOOOOO!

Oh lord. In the ridiculous and depressing saga that is Britney Spears' existence at the moment, it looks as if Britney might have somehow become engaged. She's been spotted sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Now, our best guess is that it's her friend of the moment, Adnan Ghalib, but who knows--it could also be Sam Lutfi, her other constant shady companion. The only thing that we know for sure is that there's no way either of those two freeloaders paid for it.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to find that Adnan Ghalib's estranged ex-wife's wedding ring is probably "mysteriously missing" at the moment. Personally, I think she should just listen to Liz here.

If you look at all the photo's of her taken after her split from KFed-Ex, you'll notice she has always worn a ring on her ring finger similar to a wedding band. Remember she's gone and lost her mind and has yet to let go emotionally from her delusional marriage.

I hope the rumors are true that she is headed for a mandatory lock-down. I still say that if I were her mom I'd be all up in there to get her help and would deal with whatever "consequences" arose from my actions to help her.
Many of you are probably too young to remember the doctor/mom who KNEW her daughter was being abused by her dad and went to jail for an extended period to protect her. That's what good parents are willing to do.

Britney and Lindsay's mothers are too self-absorbed and worried about their own stuff to actually put themselves out there too far...at least that's how it appears. I'm with you Nanc', I'd do whatever I had to to help my child, even if he ended up hating me for it. That's what you sign on for when you have children and it doesn't stop when they turn 18...

"...and it doesn't stop when they turn 18".
YES! That's what I have been trying to say for weeks!
But honestly, I think most of the people who state that "anyone over 18 has the right to do whatever they want" (including illegal activities) without parental interference are people about 16-19 years of age.
They have no children (hopefully) and don't realize yet the amount of love and concern most parents feel for their children.
I hope these folks have parents who will give enough of a damn about them to help them when they are of-age...IF NEEDED.
p.s. To all of you who are in that age group: You are not now the person you will be once you are out of your 20s. Don't marry, don't have kids; work on your careers, educations and travel during your 20s! Good-luck. That is all.

Fuck Britney. She can marry a billy goat, for all I care. I give up.

On to a REAL talent: can we please talk about Elizabeth Taylor in that video for a moment? Was she on pharmies or what? Help.

re: Miss Liz will always be considered a great actress and YES she has spent many a year cuddled-up to alcohol and pills and she doesn't deny it.

I swear, as a regular, hard-working, middle-class, saving for old age and kids' college accounts person who has had her own personal heartbreaks, trials and problems (most of us have), I just don't get why all these celebs have drug problems.

Do they REALLY have more problems than the rest of us who are managing on much less money?
No, money doesn't insure happiness but it sure as hell provides more options and freedom and less worries or is it really a "celeb" problem that we common folk can't understand?
I doubt not since many famous "artists" (actors, writers, singers, etc.) manage to live good lives without all the drama/b.s. or is being "creative, talented & an artist" an excuse for crazy behavior?

What the fuck is wrong with Liz? That clip was too weird.
