Well, as you know, Britney Spears was released from the hospital yesterday. I think we can all agree that this wasn't the best move on her part but she's got an issue and that's probably preventing her from seeing things clearly. She immediately drove around with a pap in her car (not Adnan), and was the head of a 20 car parade of SUV's following her to the Beverly Hills Hotel. No wonder she's gone off the deep end. I don't think the president gets this much coverage. Adnan met Britney at the hotel, and they went to see her new lawyer, Adam Streisand. This is the guy who tried to axe Britney's dad as her conservator the other day.
Speaking of Britney's Dad, Jamie and Lynne Spears have released a statement regarding their displeasure over Britney's release from the hospital:
"As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."
That statement was sent to Anderson Cooper of CNN. CNN? Isn't there a presidential race going on? And a war? Anyway, sources say that Jamie is trying to get his powers of convervatorship extended, so he can actually have the power to tell the cops to pluck paps out of Britney's car and be able to put the kibosh on Brit buying cars and getting hotel rooms. It's like a nightmare that doesn't end.

Sorry to hear this...I guess the saga must continue...I thought she was court-ordered to stay in treatment for 2 weeks?
The paps are hoping to get that shot of her final meltdown...sick bastards.
Melissa says:
I believe that Jamie and Lynne are continuing more of the same that got her into this mess to begin with. They need to step back and let her be an adult and make choices, and fall if she falls. Brit chooses this path so they need to let her go. Only she can choose to turn around and make logical choices, not mom and dad. You can only treat those that say I need treatment.....
GammaGirl says:
This is just RIDICULOUS! Am I the only one wondering why she was allowed to leave her house in the first place?
Also, maybe it's time for the media to consider their own role in encouraging Britney's delusions of grandeur. I have a hunch that she would act out even more if people ignored her, but something has to be done.

she is going to follow in the footsteps of Anna Nicole Smith at the rate shes going

This is too much, no one should be allowed to harrass someone like this. She cannot even take a walk for a cup of coffee. This is hell for her. Just because you are a singer, people have no right to harass you like this. People think they know these people, you only know their talent, but no clue who these people are! Wow, I cannot believe the photogs don't get arrested. What is happening to her is scary, no wonder she lost her mind, imagine not being able to take a walk, wow horrible.

Someone cut off all the credit cards ASAP. Do a full audit to account for her missing millions $$. Teach her how to make a freaking cup of coffee at home like the rest of the world. I swear that's the simple solution to part of this problem.......no one ever taught her how to boil water nevermind cook for herself when needed.
If I'd just spent 3-4 day in a psych ward, I would of spent at least a day at home to regroup maybe SHOWER.
NYSailorScout says:
"Throws"? You mean "throes"......
Try getting an education and picking up a book sometime, rather than being parasites off of your own daughter, you worthless hillbillies.
FuntKase says:
Oh boy, another press release from the parents. That's all these two seem to be doing lately.
If they truly cared about their child, they would cart her crazy ass off to the jungle or a mountain top in Tibet instead of boo-hooing and wringing their hands and waiting for the courts to do the job they themselves should have done a long time ago.
desertgirl says:
Yes, everyone needs to leave Britney alone, including the public - but that will never happen.
Just suppose...
What if her parents actually wanted to drive Britney crazy while they have conservatorship? Who would inherit her estate? K-Fed through the boys, or her parents?
