The stunning British singer, Leona Lewis, was discovered on the TV talent show, X Factor, and after experiencing wild success on the other side of the pond, she has now come to the United States to conquer the pop charts here. And, she's been successful, with her single, "Bleeding Love," hitting the number one spot--a feat not accomplished by a British female artist in over twenty years.
Curly-haired Leona is projected to surpass the record sales of the troubled-yet-talented British singer Amy Winehouse, whose Back to Black album debuted at #7 in the U.S. charts. Leona's already got an appearance on Oprah under her belt, where she was introduced by X Factor judge Simon Cowell to the talk show audience,and received a standing ovation after her performance of her single.
Hmm, she's beautiful, appears humble, has the number one single and just got the nod of approval from Oprah. I think she might do OK for herself.
