Eva Mendes spent some time down at the rehab for "outside support" for some "personal issues." She's out of the booze clink and feeling fine. She made an appearance at a luncheon shilling Fresh cosmetics and the Rose clothing line at the Roosevelt Hotel yesterday and spoke about how healthy she is.
"I'm actually taking advantage of my time off," she says. "You know, I had a film that was pushed, so I'm home spending time with my family, going to the gym and actually enjoying taking care of myself. This year has been great for me because I've learned how to relax. The last three years have been amazing but kind of crazy. So I don't know, I feel grounded. I feel really good,"
"Grounded" is rehab speak for "craving pills and booze but sober so far."
Eva stayed at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, which is the same joint Lindsay Lohan was incarcerated at. The staff there must have found her to be a lovely alternative to Lindsay. Lindsay spent most of her time there banging people's husbands in the bathroom stalls and scheming on how to sneak pills in. I'm sure they were ready to crown Eva rehab homecoming queen in comparison.
