Listen To Madonna's New Album

A whole four days before her release of her new album Hard Candy, Madonna is giving the world a preview of the album's 12 tracks on her MySpace page. I'm listening to it right now and I have to say that I'm hooked. I'm a sucker for cheesy dance tracks and Madge snagged some hot hip-hop producers to help her on this one. Timbaland's influence is particularly apparent and many of the songs are very reminiscent of those from Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds, which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion.
Meanwhile, at the Tribeca Film Festival, Madge premiered her documentary I Am Because We Are and all her famous friends showed up to show their support. Now, I think this movie might actually have a chance because even though Madonna is credited as having written the film, someone else directed it and it is about a very worthy subject, the plight of orphans in Malawi. Let's just hope she didn't narrate because then all sympathy for the kids might just fly right out the window with her over-use of the words "quite" and "shall."
