Jamie Lynn's Getting A Visit From Britney

Expecting mom Jamie Lynn Spears has been maintaining a pretty low profile at her home in Kentwood, Louisiana--well, a low profile for a member of the Spears family. Aside from the occasional shopping trip and stray pre-pregnancy TV guest spot, girlfriend has been focused on gestating that baby.
Pretty soon, Jamie Lynn will be able to sit and chill with her older sister Britney, who is on her way to Kentwood for her little sister's baby shower over the weekend.
Also, I kind of like that she looks like a regular pregnant woman--not like Nicole Kidman or Angelina Jolie, who only seem to gain weight in their boobs and lips. Jamie Lynn's wearing the back-up glasses, y'all, and I think we all can relate to that.

Remember first and foremost, they are sisters. Somewhere, that does count for something. I promise, Britney, the real Britney is completely thrilled for a niece and Jamie and Britney and going to enjoy motherhood together. The media needs to give them the space to come into their own. GROWING UP AND HAVING CHILDREN IS HARD!

I think she is incredible for keeping her own child. People should stop trashing her and think about what it takes for a 16/17 year old girl to decide she is going to keep her baby and raise it. Teenagers have sex (get over it) and yet you only seem to critisize the unfortunate pregnant mothers. Good job Jamie lynne.

She looks so pretty. I think she will be just fine. She seems like a much stronger person than Britney, one who has her head on straight and will be a good mom.

Michelle, if she had her head on straight, she'd have been thinking about contraception when she decided to sleep with someone.
There isn't any excuse for it either, except for if she was drunk. If she was drunk, definitely not got her head on straight.
Whatever way you look at it, she didn't have her head on straight. At all.
Still, I wish her luck. Having a baby can only make her more mature.

Sbrooks1 how can you even say something like that! Having an abortion that far along is MURDER!!! I think Jamie made a great choice taking responsibility for her actions! She will be a great mom!

You know it was her choice and she knew what could be the out come. Like "e" said teens do have sex. My husband took responsability at 17 when he and his high school gf had a baby. Now we have custudy of him and everything worked out for him and his son. Leave her alone. At least she is stepping up to the plate! To sbrooks1 WHAT THE HELL! 1. Abortion is illegal after 3 months. 2. You are a sick person to believe that it is ok! It is murder and if it happens and you don't want the baby... Have it and give it to a family that will love it more than you!

lordy be, some of you people are IDIOTS.
Amazing? for simply keeping her baby? she's got the money and support to do so. "amazing" is a 16 year old who's got NONE of the money or support structure that JL has, and still keeps her baby.
and autumn? don't know where YOU live (perhaps the backwoods of LA, like JL) but in a LOT of places, abortion is not illegal after 3 months. if you don't know WTF you're talking about, don't say it.
