Kylie Minogue Beloved In France

Kylie Minogue will be awarded with one of France's highest cultural honors when she becomes a Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters on May 5. And won't that chainmail be gorgeous! France's Minister of Culture will be pinning it on her. Kylie will be in France anyway, when she kicks off her X2008 tour in Paris the next evening.
Kylie's latest disc, X, tanked here in the States. But you should get it. It's pretty good if you like poppy, effervescent dance tracks. It's gayer than Wentworth Miller and loads of fun.
I'd be like "I had breast cancer, you dicks! Buy my album. Damn!"

I find it really strange that Kylie isn't as popular in the States as she is in the rest of the world. The same with Robbie Williams. They're loved all over the world and they're awesome, but oh no...americans would rather listen to Miley Cyrus and gangsta rap....eh?

Its not just Kylie ANY Dance artist who has enjoyed international success will tank here in the US.
A nation where 65% of the population is at least 100 lbs overweight, well lets just say that dancing isnt a priority. Plus this isnt some dumb ghetto bullshit marketed by the corporate mob to poor inner city kids, this fun dance pop music.
No worries, Kylie is doing great business elsewhere
Carry on Kyles the yank fans you do have here appreciate you immensely .
SO MUCH better than Madonna , easier to swallow less pretense and bullshit .
