Included in People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People issue, Ashton Kutcher jokingly told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview on her talk show to promote his new movie that he had the "Sexiest Man Alive" title in his sights. Kutcher quipped that both he and Patrick Dempsey were angling for the spot. He also blamed his scruffy facial hair for holding him back from knocking off beauty points from his total. I'm sure Patrick's probably still whining about his teeny pecs.

But the That 70's Show star figures that "beautiful" is just a hop, skip and a jump away from sexy, reasoning, "Once you're beautiful, you can sort of lean into sexy." Additionally, I don't know if Ashton's noticed that the word "alive" is also a crucial part of the title.

And if you think that I'm suggesting he murder any man alive sexier than he, then understand this: I'm not saying that he should, I'm just saying that if David Beckham, Brad Pitt and Clive Owen mysteriously turn up missing, we know where to start looking.
