Mischa Barton's first response to seeing that pictures of her dimpled thighs had been posted on The Daily Mail was to say that the pictures were taken at an unflattering angle and, "Every woman has cellulite!" And she's right on both counts. But now, she's taking it even further and claiming that the photos of her in a bikini have been altered.
Her rep told the New York Daily News, "These photos are doctored," implying that the cottage cheese effect on the backs of her legs had been heightened through the use of Photoshop. The Daily Mail shot back that Barton's smoking was to blame: "The nasty habit is one of the reasons [for] the premature emergence of her cellulite." Ouch.
Either way, if I were her, I think I'd just leave well enough alone. I was with her on her initial reaction to the pictures.

I'll be honest, I think the photos are doctored, too. Even if that makes me a bit naive. I'm 32 and even I don't have the hideous cellulite they feature Mischa with. Plus, considering she's a decade younger than me, is borderline anorexic, actually exercises, and has a blemish free upper-body, I'm doubting that even smoking would give her the butt of a 55-year-old woman. Anyways, wouldn't she wear a cover-up if her body was truly that hideous?

Yeah, the pics look fake. Even real pics of Britney Spears don't look quite that bad, and Britney's a walking freakshow.

It's all about lighting. When you are inside under soft lighting with tan legs or with bronzer on your legs you'll look beautiful. Especially if you will have the photographer touch up the photo. Outside--sunlight is cruel to white skin and the least little imperfections show up. Sorry, it's just that simple.

definitely photoshopped. The angle of the ass cheeks isn't even right. There's not enough bad light in the world to do that to her thighs.
