Jenna Bush Got Married

First Daughter Jenna Bush got hitched. She married Henry Hager, whom she met while work on her father's 2004 re-electiion campaign. Well at least something nice came out of that. Dick Cheney managed not to shoot anybody in the face during the wedding.
The couple were married just before sundown beside a lake at the President's 1,600 acre Prairie Chapel ranch in Crawford, Texas. The bride and her mother Laura Bush wore Oscar De La Renta, who is a personal friend of the family. The got married in front of a limestone cross and altar which will remain as a permanent part of the property. Jenna's twin sister Barbara served as the maid of honor.
Jenna's the first daughter of an active President to be married in 16 years.
"This is a joyous occasion for our family, as we celebrate the happy life ahead of (Jenna) and her husband, Henry," the president said in his weekly radio broadcast Saturday morning. "It's also a special time for Laura, who this Mother's Day weekend will watch a young woman we raised together walk down the aisle."
Wasn't Jenna a crazy drunken slut when she was younger? Way to clean up, babe.

I was so impressed with the blog till I got to this part, "Wasn't Jenna a crazy drunken slut when she was younger? Way to clean up, babe." . . . wow, couldn't even let the woman enjoy her wedding day in the spot-light . . . way to be an ass, J. Harvey.

I agree with Drew B - she might have been reported drunk, or looking drunk on few occasions, but I never heard any gossip that would qualify her as a slut. The fact that the author of this report doesn't like President Bush is not enough to offend other people. It's very primitive.

I retract my last statement - she totally was a drunken slut.
Oh you people need to get over yourselves. She is the daughter of a sitting president who has had more than one brush with the law while intoxicated. Not saying that this is unheard of, but doesn't earn you the right to be free from scorn.

chica, life wouldn't be worth living w/out little salsa in our lives to makes us smile when we are old and in the nursing home... w/no teeth... LOL
Fun memories of dancing top of tables and bars and stripping... oh yet that was me...
but anywho, still luves my J....

Geez, lighten up-they constantly made fun of Chelsea Clinton for being funny looking when she was younger, and her father didn't even ruin the whole country (plus a few 'bonus' ones).

sheesh ppl. i agree; lighten up. which one of us went through our entire wedding day without someone bringing to light some of our 'lesss-than-flattering' moments? maybe it was a best man's toast. maybe it was the maid of honor. maybe it was a sibling throwing your escapades out for human consumption. maybe it was just some drunk witch trying to embarass you at your wedding. whatev -- if it didn't happen, you've got boring friends or a boring past. jenna has a past, just like all the rest of us. it doesn't make her exempt just because her father is a crappy president!

Also, I agree. Since when did we become all sensitive? On this snark-fab site? Get real.
Besides, he said "way to clean up". And I agree. She looked surprisingly pretty in her gown.
Her & her sister didn't even WANT Bush to run for president. I guess they knew he'd screw it up, too.
