Lily Allen's evening out at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in London started off innocently enough, with the British singer showing up on the red carpet with pink hair and wearing a dress covered in a print of Bambi getting her throat slit. Oh yes, she looked like a little Precious Moments statue.
However, much as has been the pattern with her lately, she ended the event in a puddle of her own drunkenness and had to be carried out, but clutching firmly in her hands the Editor's Special Award she took home that evening.
In response, she wrote on her MySpace blog:
"Last time i wrote here , I was defending my honor and dignity , explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing. This time i'm putting my hands up , i got very drunk last night , too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk , i feel awful and I have to thank my little brother alf for getting me home safely."Looking at this as a "glass half full" type of situation, at least she managed somehow to keep this from being an upskirt.

I know most people get drunk once in awhile, but it seems like every story I see of Lily ends with the same thing- her being drunk. I really hope she doesn't have substance abuse problems.
