Gwyneth Paltrow is starring in a new show Spain... On the Road Again where she and chef Mario Batali show a variety of recipes from the country's cuisine.
Now Ben Karlin, a former writer from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is suing the makers of the show because he was approached to "conceptualize and oversee" a companion book for the program and was later dismissed without pay for the work he had done.
But it isn't just the production company who is named in the filed papers. The Emmy-winning writer is also accusing Gwyneth and Mario of refusing to work with him on his project.
The producer, Charles Pinsky has hired an attorney to fight the suit. His attorney released a statement saying, "We will vigorously defend this lawsuit, including the good names of Charles Pinsky and Mario Batali."
I guess that means Gwyneth doesn't have a good name to defend.

Rob Enderle says:
Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that fishstick has a cooking show?
Its like having Paris Hilton do a show about abstinence.
The only time I think of cooking and Paltrow is when people yell at the screen "Someone give that poor girls something to eat."
