It's been a while since the last time we saw Ryan Phillippe being cozy with the new love in his life since Reese. He recently admitted that seeing pictures of his ex-wife with her new boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal doesn't evoke the warmest of feelings in his heart, but now it's his turn to be seen out and about on the dating scene.
The Stop-Loss co-stars chose the 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards as their first industry public outing. Cornish was at the event to receive her Breakthrough Award. Another guest at the event said of the affectionate couple, "They were adorable. He had his arm around her and they were cozy and comfortable."
It seems like Ryan waited quite a bit before moving forward with this publicly. I have to say whatever he may have done, he's done a good job of keeping his shit pretty private and I tip my hat to him at the same time as I clench my fist in frustration at my inability to squeeze more gossip out of him.

i really respect reese witherspoon for kicking this guy's ass right to the curb. so many women stay with these cheating, nasty ass men for whatever reason and i just have a lot of respect for her dumping his ass. screw that keeping the family together-having to have a man crap. you can see the kids when you visit and you are lucky you get that. you could see he resented her. that said, this chick is homely!

Abbie Cornish is not a downgrade. She is a very good actress -- as recommended above, check out Candy, her movie with Heath Ledger about two junkies in love. She's a standout. Who knows what goes on between two people? Stop the judgin'.

Lookswise, this girl has her beat. Cornish is quite beautiful. Unless you are into chicks with very pointy chins and shrewish, sharp faces. Then, I guess, Reese could be considered the more attractive.

Reese used the oldest trick in the book to get a guy (one that was way to hot for her to begin with) to marry her. He did the stand up thing and married that little pointed chin, control freak when he found out she was pregnant. Then again she uses pregnancy again to keep him. People should not stay together because of children.

Abbie is very pretty and talented. She does not look good in this picture. Normally, she is a blond. She was in Elizabeth with Cate Blancett. Abbie is stunning in that movie.
That said, she got involved with a married man. Poor judgement and very selfish of her. Abbie and Ryan had an affair while Reese and Ryan were still married. How would Abbie feel if that happened to her????
