And thank Christ! This show SUCKED. Courteney Cox should have been ashamed of herself. And I had to recap it. I would rather have helped a friend move. FX cancelled Courteney's show Dirt yesterday. Cox played Lucy Spiller, a tough as nails tabloid editor in Los Angeles. No, really. It was bad. This is like a weight off my heart.
Cox says that she will go on to produce other things. Howa bout a show in which a popular actress has to deal with the fact that her best friend, another hugely popular actress, gets dumped by her superstar husband and keeps coming over to whine about it to Courteney and her husband who will not in any way be played by David Arquette? I totally made that up!

I'm devastated. It was a great show, I loved it.

The 1st season was OK but the 2nd was just a mess. They lifted their plot lines str8 from tabloid headlines ... how lazy & unoriginal.
Weren't there only like 8 episodes for the 2nd season? The writing was on the wall.
Friends reunion show ... now!
Hey Ho says:
Or, maybe about a show that chronicles a woman who tries to move on after a divorce from her husband who also is trying to move on after finding someone and starts a family with her...
Of course, no one will really LET these people move on in peace, because, well, where's the fun in that? Holy Mother of God, would people SHUT UP already about Jennifer Aniston not getting over the Pitt thing! I thought I was reading about Cox's show being cancelled, but it just has to turn into something about Aniston. Just leave the woman alone already. I know I've had enough.

Though the plots were all ripped from gossip, I still have a guilty love for the show. Guess the writers' strike made lifting from 'real' life a bit too tempting.
coxarquettefan says:
How about a show about a snarky internet blogger who doesn't know crap about television and doesn't know when to shut his big fat mouth?
Seriously, dude, "Dirt" may not have been the best show on television, but it was a hella lot better than this crappy site you've got here. At least David and Courteney have REAL jobs. The only good thing about "Dirt" being cancelled is that no one has to read your crappy comments about it anymore. Now if only this trashy site of yours would go away, then the world would be a better place.
say what? says:
(PSST! hey, coxarquette fan!)
if you post here, it ain't going away. and I have to disagree with you.
this site (ESPECIALLY J. Harvey!) makes me laugh, on a daily basis. the only thing "Dirt" did was make me roll my eyes. I echo what lucifer said. First season was decent, second was unwatchable.
stolidog says:
when did David A. turn into Richard Simmons?
GAY.
Abomb says:
Coxarquettefan, you obviously don't visit this site enough or you would know that J. Harvey is one of the funniest bloggers around. And it's funny that you would wish this site to go away when you yourself are commenting and reading it. I agree, Dirt was ok at first then tanked.
Tracy says:
It was riding the fence for me after the 1st season, but like any good car wreck, I had to keep watching!
coxarquettefan says:
You're all right. I don't read this site. It was only by accident that I found this post, and I still say that it's retarded and that this J.Harvey or whoever the f*ck he is is an @$$hole! And so is anyone who thinks this crap is funny.
baldguy says:
How about a show where Courtney looks into the camera for an hour. I would watch it.
