Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl's name is missing from the ballot of this year's Emmy nominees, according to the LA Times. Kathy took the Emmy last year for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama. So why didn't she submit her name this year? And yes, I called her "Kathy". You know she hates it. Anyway, she's blaming he writers of Grey's Anatomy.
"I am truly grateful for the honor that the Academy bestowed upon me last year. I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the Academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials," she said in a statement.
I don't watch the show, did she really have nothing to do this season? You would expect an uppity bitch like her would have put some demands on the writers to make her character retarded or have cancer or something like that to contend with. It should have been repeat Emmy gold for her ass.

I've never been one of the people who hates her and feel certain there was a lot lacking in Emmy-quality writing this year due to the writers' strike, but why was it necessary for her to put out a statement about this? If she hadn't, we all would have just thought she simply hadn't been nominated. End of story. I'm confused.

she didn't deserve her FIRST emmy, she certainly doesn't deserve another....she just wants everyone to know that she is just soooooo talented she definitely would have won again, but she CHOSE not to.
