Man Commits Suicide After Sex with Hen

ordinarypeople

PETA will be all over this one.

A 50-year-old Zambian man has hanged himself after his wife found him having sex with a hen, police said Friday.

The woman caught him in the act when she rushed into their house to investigate a noise. "He attempted to kill her but she managed to escape," a police spokesman said.

The man from the town of Chongwe, about 50 km (30 miles) east of Lusaka, killed himself after being admonished by other villagers.

The hen was slaughtered after the incident.

I saw Lindsey Lohan at Barney's on Wilshire. I have two things to say. They're not real, and I pity the poor magazine airbrushers (they've got a lot of work to do).

New Yorker's Lingerie Shopping Hazzards

Apparently women in New York City have something else to worry about while shopping for lingerie (other than the touchy feely lingerie sales people). Local a news broadcast stated that Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's, had tried to resell returned undergarments. Ew ew ew. Personally I don't think that lingerie should be able to be returned at all.

Spokeswoman Elina Kazan said Macy's does not sell worn undergarments and posts signs in changing rooms that intimate apparel should not be tried on for size on top of bare skin.

"We train our associates to inspect the merchandise upon return and if in salable condition, return it to the sales floor," she said. "Any items that are soiled ... are not returned to the floor."

Saks did not return calls for comment.

I know where I'm not buying my lingerie from. What a huge relief, they aren't putting the soiled items back out on the shelves! Just because an item is not soiled doesn't mean that it's disease free.

Under current law, stores do not have to state whether undergarments on sale, including women's panties and thongs, have been bought and returned, although certain stores have developed their own policies.

"This is a major consumer and health issue in that the amount of bacteria that can be transported from one person to another in just one wearing can be a health hazard," said council member Tony Avella.

The council plans further discussions to decide if the bill should exclude brassieres, undershirts, socks and bathing suits, before being put to a council vote later this year. (full article)

It's amazing that we need a law for this.

Fleet Week: An Appreciation of Seamen

If all sailors looked like David Fumero I'd think about enlisting. But only if we could be bunkmates.

Miu's missing New York. Yes many of us are prone to dressing a little sluttier during Fleet Week, but it's only because we want to show our appreciation for those who protect our seas. So girls, and those inclined men, please whistle at a few for me.

Man Attempts To Kill Wife With Bubble Bath

ordinarypeople

The man must have been an idiot, because he had to visit a website to find out how to commit a bathtub electrocution.

A Texas man is suspected of using a bubble bath by candlelight and soothing music as bait to set a date with death for his wife.
Police said on Monday that William Joseph Wolfe, an emergency room nurse, has been arrested for attempted murder after he tried to electrocute his wife in the bathtub by dropping a radio into her bathwater -- a method of execution he researched on the Internet.

Wolfe is suspected of drawing the bath for his wife and bringing in a radio with an extension cord attached so his wife could listen to music during her soak. "He appeared to accidentally bump the radio," said Ronnie Walker, deputy chief of police in the east Texas city of Henderson. The wife was able to bump the radio before it hit the water, and thought that there might be something suspicious, Walker said.

What she found was that her husband had recently visited Web sites that detailed bathtub electrocutions. Walker said an examination of the computer by a cyber crimes police unit confirmed that he visited these sites before the incident that took place on March 11.

According to an affidavit presented in the case, Wolfe took out a life insurance policy for his wife a few months ago, for a "considerable amount of money," Walker said. The wife was not harmed in the incident.
