Miu has arrived and will be trying to avoid any silicone spills during my extended stay. I'm unfortunately not hear for pleasure (although I'm sure I will stumble upon some), it's a business thing. Thanks to Christian W, he's hooked me up with a hotel room for the first week I'm here (a much nicer hotel than my company would have paid for). Then it's off to stay with my good friend Robi, internationally renowned go-go dancer. I love my gay friends - think of me as Pasty channelling Edina "All my friends are gay."
I'm also excited to spend time with my best friend Nicky (she's back to using Nicky after using Nicole for a while - Nicole Richie ruined the name) - when we're together it's as if we've never been apart. I'll also get to meet a good friend of Nicky's, Susan Alexandra de Portago, who I've developed a great email friendship with.
I've only been in town for a few hours, but who should I see at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Lara Flynn Boyle. Poor Lara. The minute she stepped out on to the sidewalk she lit up, took a huge puff, turned and burnt a Sally Jesse Raphel look alike, tripped (although she could have as easily fell into a crack on the sidewalk - she's that skinny) and dropped her coffee. Let me just put it this way, Lara was not a happy camper.
I'll be sharing my thoughts about LA over the next month, as well as sharing some the adventure's I'm bound to have. I'm off to fung shui Ben Affleck's aura, and infiltrate and expose the truth behind the Church of Scientology.

Everythings good in the world: Miu is in LA; oh, the dish will be brimming with fabulosity.
