What is it with celebrities and their need to throw phones?
Russell Crowe was arrested and charged Monday for allegedly throwing a telephone at an employee of the Manhattan hotel where he was staying.You're angry that you can't get a line, so you throw a phone at someone? What are we twelve? The man is an idiot. Too bad he and Naomi Campbell aren't together, they could beat each other senseless, and be done with it."This arose because he was trying to get his wife on the phone in Australia," his lawyer, Gerald Lefcourt, told reporters earlier outside the police precinct where Crowe was booked. "He was in his room. He couldn't get a line and there was a disagreement."
Police said Crowe left his room and went to the front desk where the alleged confrontation took place.
The prosecution told the judge that Crowe admitted to a police officer that he picked up the phone and threw it because he was angry.

If memory serves, this isn't the first time in recent years that young Mr. Crowe has had a problem with his temper...seem's to me that he needs some intensive residental therapy for anger issues...

Good. Russell Crowe is an arrogant, violent prick. Ever since I saw his backstage media-speech after winning the Oscar for "Gladiator", I have thought of him as undeniably self-loving. He needs to get ahold of his temper and take some damned anger-mangement classes, or something.
