first off, that's not REALLY a wax statue. it's a pic from some mag photo shoot (Vanity Fair?) that she did a few months ago.

second, let's all remember, people, how much airbrushing goes on for photos like these.

her skin is NOT flawless like that pic would have you believe. Her lips aren't that full, and she doesn't have that extremem "v" shape on her top lip. Her skin tone is nothing like that. take a look at some of the paparazzi photos of her, and you'll see what she looks like before the photoshop.

this is not to say she's ugly...she's actually a cute girl, but that pic of her has been touched up a LOT.

point being, you can't believe ANYTHING you see from a "photo shoot" that was done for some spread in a magazine. I mean, did anyone see the Britney preggo pics that came out of her recently? The one's with the short hair? anyone who's seen paparazzi pics of her pregnant knows she doesn't look like that.

Honestly, he's so smokin hot, he could get me to do anything.
But after the looks wear off.... I'm thinking as long as she kisses his ass.... things will be just fine.
Who knows, she may be the type who adores her man unconditionally. Looks like Sylvestor Stallone has finally had a success, either due to maturity and/or the spouse.

she is really beautifull, not so much in her dawson's creek days but she has a very different look and her skin and eyes are very nice. i think that she will call of her wedding in about 6 months and tom will be brokenhearted but her career will prosper......she should hook up with someone different like maybe lenny kravitz or even orlando bloom

I don't know that the words "beautiful" or "gorgeous" describe Katie Holmes. I wouldn't even call her "pretty". Beauty doesn't come to mind. Sure, she's tall & thin in a preppy modelesque way, she has an angular frame and bone structure, she has greenish-brown eyes, but she doesn't strike me as pretty or beautiful. Attractive, at most. Maybe the kind of girl you'd put to model for J. Crew or JC Penney. Nothing glamorous, but still very wholesome-looking.

No, I'd say she's your average Plain Jane. On Dawson's Creek they hyped up her character, Joey Potter, as this knockout that all the guys wanted. I personally was mystified by the appeal, but then I hated the fictitious Joey anyway (she was a bitch to poor Dawson, I hated the mere sound of her voice, & it was just nasty when she hooked up with Dawson's best friend). I know, I know, I've watched the show, sue me, lol...

Anyhoo, I believe Katie Holmes is nothing more than a naive young woman. She seems very childlike & immature in many ways, maybe those are the qualities that attracted Tom. Nicole will be a tough act to follow because she seems more mature & sophisticated, not to mention sexier. She doesn't have that whole windblown-hair-nose-wrinkling-teenybopper aura like Katie.

Katie might not be pretty (at least, not in my humble opinion), she might not be sophisticated, but she sure can act. Playing the type of girl we all love to hate in "Dawson's Creek", it was sometimes hard to believe these weren't real people. When it first aired, she was playing a high school sophomore while in her mid-20's. She seems a bit shy in interviews. I personally cannot believe that she's having a kid with Tom. I'm in total shock...

I just heard about Tom cruze being a homosexual and that his marriage to Nicole kidman was a arrange marriage for ten years. Thats why all there kids were adopted and as soon as the contract was up they were devorced. She gained popularity and more fame out of the deal and Tom got to wear his gay mans beard. Thats why Tom went on looking for his new beard for the cover, her name is katie. The same deal was offered to her fame and better movie deals. look at the facts closer and you will see the truth.
