5 or 6 years ago, when Kenny was still pretty new and Peyton was still at UT, Kenny had a concert at my high school. No one knew Peyton was going to be there, but came out on stage as a "special guest." Earlier in the day I saw them on our football field throwing the ball -- I didn't get the impression that they were gay, but looking back its a definite possibility.

There is no question that both Kenny & Peyton are bi & queer for each other. They were seen this summer leaving a Key West bar hand in hand. Kenny was sitting on Peyton's lap onstage serenading him at a concert in a famous pic that has now been removed from the internet, but he often sings to him adoringly, & they put their hands all over each other both onstage & backstage. Everyone knew that Kenny's marriage to Renee was a total farce & a coverup to try to deflect the gay rumors that keep broiling in Nashville. There are a lot of rumors in Indy about Peyton being gay as well. His "wife" went to UVa, & knows & approves of his sexuality. Unfortunately, Kenny's new wife was unwilling to play along & cut him loose, alleging fraud in the annulment. It was unclear whether she knew about Kenny before the marriage or whether he simply flaunted it in her face afterwards. It appears they never consummated their marriage. Everyone who knows each of these guys well, & there are plenty in Knoxville that do, know that while they are seen with girls for appearances purposes, their strong preference is for boys.

I am from Tennessee. I have heard local stories back in the 90's that Manning liked boys on the side. Peyton was a celebrity from UT Knoxville. Word was:he liked to cruise bars and would show up in a small town late at night. The local college age crowd loved it. After a few beers and with the glamor of having a jock like Manning partying with you and your buds, what guy wouldn't let him have his way with him? It's just country boys gettin down on the farm, right? Doesn't mean their "gay". Besides, you can't be gay and be married to a woman, or a be a jock.
