The Madonna promotion blitz is full force people. In preperation for the release of her new single, CD, and documentary, Madonna is everywhere. The singer showed up at Hunter College after a screening (MTV sponsored, of course) of her new documentary to share her wisdom with the students.
The hulking security guards standing at the side of a Hunter College lecture hall was a big hint that their usual professor might be taking the afternoon off. When the lights came up and Madonna walked in, that confirmed it. The former Material Girl surprised students at a film course who had just seen an advance screening of her tour documentary, "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret." Her appearance was filmed for the mtvU network series "Stand In," where celebrities such as Marilyn Manson,Many of the students were about the age Madonna was when she moved from Michigan to New York, determined to make it first as a dancer, then as a singer. "I wanted to be different," she said Tuesday. "I wanted to be somebody."
Asked by a student what drove her to succeed, the 47-year-old pop star said, "It's one of those things you can't really answer. You're either hungry and determined to make it, or you're not. I know a lot of people who, when they got rejected, they accepted what people said about them. I never did that."
"Being a celebrity, you can get very caught up and seduced into believing and thinking that what you do is the most important thing in the world and get very attached to material things," she said. "I'm guilty of that and I'm still guilty of that, but hopefully I'm becoming less attached."
The big question is, will she show up at the Roxy this Saturday night. Here's what Queerty thinks:
Madonna will be at the Roxy. Madonna will be coming out on stage, thanking the audience, and pumping them up for her album. She will then introduce Mr. Rauhofer’s mix of the new single “Hung Up” and the queens will go nuts. This likely scenario explains why:1. Madonna was seen entering the club.
2. Rauhofer, who no longer works at Roxy, suddenly returns to the club.
3. Roxy, Rauhofer, and John Blair are not lying when they say she is “not performing.”
4. The promotional materials are Madonna branded and speak of a “special guest.”
I guess we'll have to go with "You'll See."

Nice of Hunter College to sacrifice a class to the promotional gods just because she's famous and they knew there would be articles about it that would mention the name of the college.

Oh my this just show how talented she is. With all the distructor and haters comment and topics this made her more stand out (even before and until the end of time).
