Kim Basinger - achingly beautiful, awesomely talented - is absolute torture to be married to, according to the latest court papers filed by her ex-husband, Alec Baldwin. Kim, who has custody, recently fired a state-appointed therapist who had consistently decided custody disputes in Alec's favor. The therapist noted in his exit report that he had never before seen a case where a mother said no to every single request for visitation-schedule changes from the father. But perhaps the worst thing Basinger did was in 2002, when she scheduled Ireland's baptism while Baldwin was working in Europe. Because of a scarcity of friends, Basinger made the gardener and housekeeper the godparents of the child.Now, if that is true, that is just incredibly sad. She should have just called me, I'd have stepped up to the plate for crazy Kim.

TEAM KIM!!! Alec Baldwin = Gross. Baldwin is nothing but a smarmy bully. Seriously. I once worked at a film festival where he was a guest speaker (he presented "The Cooler," a movie in which he essentially played himself -- a violent bully), and man was he was creepy in person! All smiling and cracking jokes on-stage, then screaming into a cell phone like a lunatic behind the curtains (perhaps he was on the phone with Kim??). Me, I have always been a fan of Kim's, and think she is indeed gorgeous and talented, but also kind of vulnerable. I am sure it was torture being married to Baldwin, and now she is making his life hell. I also read on several occasions where he was physically abusive towards her. In turn, she is probably scared for her daughter's safety. I hope these rumors dispel. Kim made a fantastic return to the big screen in “The Door in the Floor” that got literally no press. Meanwhile, Baldwin’s a revered, A-list asshole. Just because he's in the limelight more these days doesn't mean his word is the gospel.
