I'm pretty sure she is a non-drinker (recovering, maybe?) and that she gave up cigarettes 2 or 3 years ago. I think she's been looking really beautiful in the last few years, but not in these pictures. I blame the hair/makeup peops and the photographer.

I believe Duchovny won quite a few awards. He won a Golden Globe. TV Guide Award for Best Actor in a drama, American Comedy award for best guest actor. An Emmy nomination for best guest actor on the Bonnie Hunt Show. He also won some Sci Fi Awards. I'm sure there must be more. They were both wonderful on XF's. Gillian has won more awrads, but so what! It has not helped her financially, and so far has not gotten her any bigger parts. Maybe it will in the future. So i'm not sure what the big deal is. I know i'm looking forward to Trust The Man which seemed to get some beautiful reviews for Duchovny as well as the whole cast. As far as Gillian, she's doing independent films just as Duchovny is.

On those pictures that you're talking about, i thought she looked better then she has. I liked her hair color and it looked as though she filled out somewhat. But for sure the lady needs the help of a good bra. Her girls were kind of droopy and she should really have her teeth whitened. I think Gillian looks pretty, but I miss the red hair. (And she should smile more - you'd think after nine years of trying to keep her face as immobile as possible she'd mix it up a bit...)

I don't think she looks anorexic - she's a vegetarian and that usually makes people skinnier. (The Keira Knightley comment was funny, but I think most celebrities do the "slightly open mouth" thing now.) Anyway, she was always a little skinny - it was just hidden under all those boxy suits (especially in the first three seasons, but she was pregnant in the second season). You also have to consider that she's 5'2", so she might look more proportionate in real life (lol).

Sali, her support of neurofibrosis goes way back because her brother has it. She's been supporting the charity/charities since she became famous (at least since the movie came out). I'm neither old, a girl, fat, or jealous. I do not find Gillian Anderson to be a beautiful woman. I think she falls into the same category as Jennifer Anniston. Both have that long face that keeps them from being beautiful. They are not ugly, but no beauties either. Ok. I think that Gillian Anderson did look better in her x-files days, but I dont think she looks so bad in these pics. I think that she looks a bit on the skinny side, but i have seen pics of her since then and she seems to have put a few more pounds on, and looks healthier. I don't know what to say about the whole film role thing: I am a fan of hers, but I dont think she is doing so well now. But I do think she was brilliant in Bleak House!
