The movie is entitled Napoleon & Betsy, and the role of the Emperor is still not cast.According to history Bonaparte was befriended by a young English girl Betsy Balcombe when he was exiled to the South Atlantic island of St Helena in 1815, and their relationship was that of an uncle to his nephew. And historians insist that it was a platonic relationship, and would be silly to suggest otherwise.

scarlett is such a good actress. hope she learns to keep her clothes on from now on. from what i've read it was a platonic relationship with bonaparte and the girl. bonaparte wanted to show the islanders that he could have seduced/ruined the girl if he wanted to, but that he was being benevolent
