Mark Ruffalo is currently starring on Broadway in Clifford Odets' Awake and Sing! co-starring Lauren Ambrose, Ben Gazzara and Zoe Wanamaker. The play has received mixed reviews, but we'd see Mr. Ruffalo in anything regardless of the quality of the production. However, we did like what the New York Times had to say about Mr. Ruffalo in the review for the play.
Nobody slings it with more panache than Mark Ruffalo, the soulful movie and stage actor making his Broadway debut here. He plays the outsider in the Berger family ménage, a wiseacre cynic named Moe Axelrod with a missing leg and a doleful crush on Ralph's sister, Hennie. Or as Moe memorably puts it, "I got a yen for her, and I don't mean a Chinee coin."Mark recently had dinner with Jake Gyllenhaal, and they shared a sweet goodbye.

Everytime I see a picture of Jake I think about that tent scene with him and Heath Ledger in Brokeback ... ugh. I cant handle it no more.

I just love my Jakey! Mark is cute too. He always brings a great understatedness to his work. I thought Mark was in the new Julia Roberts play.
