Britney Spears Fires The Nanny

Well someone had to go down for Sean Preston falling out of that high chair (who is going to pay for when he fell off her bed twice), and it's going to be the nanny. What happened to the highchair collapsed theory. I guess there will be no lawsuit.

Britney was feeling a tad overprotective the night of her husbands CD listening party, and decided to stay in the couples hotel room because she didn't want to leave him alone with the nanny.

Distraught mom Britney Spears has fired her nanny. The singer made the decision to get rid of little Sean Preston’s keeper in the wake of the child falling from his highchair, according to In Touch Weekly.

Britney has been “hiding out and depressed” since her son’s head-bonking incident and cancelled plans to celebrate her brother Bryan’s birthday, the mag reports. “She wanted to be a mother and thought she could snap her fingers and be the perfect mom,” a “pal” told the mag. “But Britney is learning the hard way that being a good mother is something you always have to work at.”

Britney also reportedly hired a doctor to advise her on how to keep her tot safe. “The doctor advised her not to leave Preston on any high surfaces where he could roll off,” an insider told the ITW, which also reports that Spears was so impressed with the sage advice that she wanted to hire the doctor full time, but he told her that it wasn’t necessary.

I would have never thought of that. So leaving the baby on top of the refrigerator is not such a good idea? Who would have thought?

WOW...money does not buy class or common sense.

God, now she is going to have another one! Lord help these children.

Oooh, it only took her a few weeks to fire the nanny, too! Oooh, I am like y'know SO convinced that Britney wasn't at all responsible for Sean's "accident."

Bah. Probably just a payoff to salvage her "good mommy" image.

i keep thinking, what are her poor kids going to think when they're older and find out about all this? hopefully they won't search the news archives from their childhood, or they'll have something to be very depressed about. then again, having kfed as a dad is probably as depressing as it gets anyways.

wow, and i can't believe some people still defend this waste of space. my God, she was impressed with what the doctor told her, a 5 year old could have given her that information!
and wanting to hire the doctor full time?? i hope he laughed in her face as hard as i did when i read this.

In this pic she looks like K's mother.

say goodnight, Britney, you're old and tired news.

I don't know what alarms me more (besides the idea of these two Beverly Hillbillies having another child): Britney Spears having sex with a greasy, slurring man-whore, or Kevin Federline having sex with a washed-up, blown-out cow.

Too bad baby SP can't "fire" his moronic parents'

Poor Baby and now with # 2 on it's way...

Yes, Britney. Glad you're figuring out that being a decent, much less good, mother is REALLY FRICKIN HARD. It requires a tremendous amount of self-sacrifice and work and dedication. Maturity helps a lot too, you idiot. Please do this next child a huge favor and adopt him/her out-doesn't matter who, anyone would be a much better parent than you or your greaseball hubby. And you're firing the nanny? I'm sure she was the most responsible person in the house! You need to fire yourself, bitch! Get a tubal already! God, I'm so sick of celebrities being allowed to abuse/neglect their children.

Save Sean Preston!

Can you imagine being a doctor and working for Britney?!

Doc: "Okay, Brit....so what you want to do is make sure to watch Sean at all times when he's in the bathtub."

Britney: "Oh, I get it! So he doesn't drown, right, doc? I think I'm starting to get the hang of this parenting thing! You're SOOO good at this!"

If Brad and Angelina are in ever in the market to adopt again, baby Sean P and his new bro/sis are going to be available very soon.

Thing is, these two slobs deserve each other.
It's actually amusing seeing them crash and burn because they've abused any and all assets they have.
But adding babies into that dark scummy world of theirs...whole other thing. Disgusting.

And no telling what liability Britney's new advising Doc has. What a fool he is to get involved. Maybe next time there's an accident, they'll blame *him*.

Yeah, you guys are probably right, maybe she should divorce her husband and put her children up for adoption to make everyone happy. YEAH RIGHT! You guys think that you know Britney. You guys don't know shit. If you belive everything that you hear/see in the media, you are dumber than you ever thought Britney was. The media is just a constant movie going on to keep everyones attention so their's and the celebrities paychecks will grow. Now you tell me who's dumb. The more interest you show, the more money she is getting. Go ahead, go back to your boring life when all you can do is sit back at your minimum wage job and read about our lives.

britney's friend: "...and read about our lives"
aw cute, you really think you are britney's friend

there's a little saying, 'don't believe it until you see it' and well i've seen her first hand driving with her son on her lap. how are you going to deny that she's a crappy mother? the fact that she was "suing the highchair company" and "fired the nanny" verifies that s.p. did fall out of his high chair. so i'm going to have to go with the numerous other reports that he had other falls too. child services has been to her house MULTIPLE times. so although i don't have the honor of knowing her firsthand like you britney's friend, all that has surfaced is some pretty crappy stuff on her as a mother, and not because of the media. bottom line--britney spears SUCKS as a mother. i could care less if she stayed with that waste-of-space, but i do care about what happens to poor innocent children.

and oh wow look, you opened your mouth calling everyone else stupid, and guess whose the dumba$$ now?

April 26, 2006 4:26 PM

I think Britney thought her kid would have Louis Vuitton printed across his forehead and she could just lug him around as an accessory.

I hope the nanny sues or writes a tell-all book.

This is so cool - I am going to be totally rich. I am going to be Nanny 911 for Britney and the Trash Man. I will teach their children to come in out of the rain, I will not let them stick beans up their nose, I will show Britney why children shouldn't play in traffic, use blow driers in the shower, or run with scissors. I will teach Britney not to bathe the baby in the kitchen sink if the garbage disposal is running, and why babies should not drink Red Bull.
The first thing I will teach those children is how to dial 911, and the second thing will be to NEVER EVER tell anyone their last name.

" go back to your boring life when all you can do is sit back at your minimum wage job and read about our lives."

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU? YOUR life, worth reading about? What a sad little teenybopper, probably taking a break from her acne cream! HA!

what saddens me is that she didn't fire the nanny til after the high chair incident. the pictures of the nanny trailing behind her on an escalator holding her new baby with ONE arm still give me chills. while they can claim "we weren't home when the high chair thing happened" the pictures on the escalator CLEARLY show Britney standing in front of the ex nanny and her son. why hasn't she been required to take parenting classes yet?

uh, she needed a DOCTOR to tell her that she shouldn't put SP on high surfaces? first off, NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO TELL HER THAT...second, she needed a DOCTOR to tell her? we all know she clearly doesn't have any common sense, but her own mother couldn't give her advice like that?!

oh, wait, her mother probably did the same thing...no wonder Brit's got no common sense...

as far as her being a good mother goes, there are too many incidents where she's proven that she isn't a doting, involved mother. when her kid fell, she and K-fed were allegedly not even in town. how many mothers do you know who will willingly leave their VERY YOUNG child/infant with a nanny for a few days at a time? repeatedly?!

she's more interested in saving her own career and keeping an eye on her scumbag cheating husband than she is in taking care of her kid. and now she's bringing another victim into this world...oy, vey, someone needs to be sterilized.

to ohpleaze...put it perfectly! "Save Sean Preston", indeed...I think you've come up with a GREAT idea for the next t-shirt trend...

to "britney's friend"...Divorce, yes...give the kids up for adoption? no. as soon as that...what was it?...oh, yes, greasy, slurring man-whore (thanks, Kerra) is out of her life, she and her kids will be better off.

someone said they are glad to see Britney and Kevin crach and burn...how mean is that? No matter how much you dislike a person (which I find difficult when you don't even know the person) it's not fair to wish harm upon them. People had opinions that she was dumb for not having a nanny and then others saying she was dumb for having one...who she fired for doing a crappy job. Clearly she was paying attention. How many people have had bad experinces with nannies?...LOTS they can be very conniving and deceptive. Britney is dealing with guilt of her precious baby falling and then has to listen people insult her inteligence. She is a new mom....she is going to make mistakes just like every other parent has. Also, she is still so young. The coomplete rationalization of brains r not even developed until the age of 25..which she has not reached yet. But the majority have babies before the age of 25 and they are some of the best parents on the world...who leanned along the way with friends and family being supportive. I hope Britney has at least that. She is a pretty strong woman is all I can say. How many can say they can handle all that she has? Not too many I think. I would like everyone to think of all the mistakes they made with their kids or just life in general before they write another nast comment about Britney Spears...and be thankful that you didn't have nasty reporters catching it all on tape or some kind of media and releasing it to the whole world who then in turn, judges the poor girl who is trying her best and only wants what the rest of us want: respect, love and friends.
