Who knew Tom Cruise was one to get all tingly in his nether regions to drop a press conference and go on a shopping spree? It looks like Tom just wanted to mingle with his public. We have to say that we are happy he's pushed his bangs to the side.
Tom Cruise pulled out of a press conference in Paris - to go shopping for baby clothes. The star - who was in the French capital on Wednesday (26.04.06) to promote 'Mission Impossible III' - became a biological father last week when fiancee Katie Holmes gave birth to their first daughter, Suri.However, despite feeling the need for some retail therapy, Cruise didn't disappoint the thousands of fans who'd turned up to see at the film's premiere. He arrived by helicopter at La Defense - a high-rise complex in the west of the city - for the red carpet screening and his trademark meet and greet with fans.
Yes, that Tom is always so subtle, in everything he does.

The cynical people (self-included) would think that Tom puts his movie career over the newborn life of his alleged daughter!

What a caring attentive parent to buy clothes for a newborn he doesn't bother to hang around for! They should give him "dad of the year" award. Right around the time the AMA gives him that medal of honor for his contributions to the mental health of the nation.
And how privately he did this too! Only a few paparazzi stationed nearby, as he attempts to make it look natural.
Seriously, I've seen people be more attentive to their newborn second cousins once removed than this guy does toward his "offspring."
