British rocker Pete Doherty was released on bail Sunday by police investigating tabloid newspaper photos that showed him injecting himself and a woman with drugs, a police official said. According to Pete Doherty, It turns out that wasn't shooting the unconscious girl up with heroin, he was just drawing some blood from her so he could paint a picture. Why of course. He needed blood to paint pictures. Not strange or sick at all.
The pictures, published in Friday's edition of The Sun, appear to depict the self-confessed drug addict injecting himself with heroin, as well as a comatose young fan on his kitchen floor.But 21-year-old Laura McEvoy, who is seen lying with her eyes closed while the Babyshambles singer inserts a needle into her arm, insists she was fully conscious when the picture was taken.
Doherty told police following his arrest he was taking blood from McEvoy to use to paint pictures - and six of his friends have given statements that no drugs were involved.
So it was just game play, when she posed as if she was unconscious.
