Russell Crowe On Sharon Stone

Supposedly, she had some work done by a high-profile Manhattan surgeon (probably Dan Baker). But, he clearly does good work and she looks great to me. Russell should probably pay the good doctor a visit -- he could use smoothing around the edges. He's just vile inside and out.

Because I was stupid enough to see her crap of a movie Basic Instinct 2 ... I agree with him 100%.

Russell needs to stop throwing stones at Stone. He looks like a bloated, middle age woman.

Crowe needs to shove it. Immediately. He's spitting on every celebrity there is. Does anyone remember how he dissed Pitt, Clooney and De Niro for doing commercials? He's such a hypocrite, so righteous and sanctimonious - is he Cruise's best pal? He's a great actor but he's also a shitty person. Anyway, Stone is a striking beauty, and close-ups of her show a lot of wrinkles. I believe that she is natural, except for some Botox. The plastic surgery gossip needs to stop 'cause it's all about jealousy. It's SO easy to her HER: she's stunningly gorgeous and rich, emancipated and outspoken. Was Crowe criticizing his best buddy Nicole Kidman too? I'm so sick of him and people hating emancipated women who have it all. I'm with Stone on this one. She's one miracle of beauty.

Stone is unbelievably gorgeous: I've seen her at the NY premiere AND SHE LOOKED STUNNING (really tall also). An imposing figure of beauty - and she can really work the red carpet like no other star.
Plus, guess who gave Crowe his first shot at Hollywood fame? Well it was Stone who produced The Quick and the Dead - she also took a pay cut so he and Leo could be in the movie. Crowe needs a taste of his owm medecine - FAST!

Not stank-master Crowe again? Who the hell is he to judge people (and on what grounds: the surgery is just hateful gossip - there's no proof). The funny thing is: if you look at Crowe nowadays, he really looks like an orangutan himself. Stone is probably the only beautiful woman who could really kick his ass - psychologically speaking. She should do it.

I don't like Crowe but, he's right. Anyone who has seen candid pics of Stone (or BI2) knows that she has that twisted, stretched look that means she had surgery, but aging has overcome it. Janice Dickinson has it too.

Last April 24th Russell gave an interview to Kyle & Jackie O Show of 2Day FM in which he talked about a lot of subjects, plastic surgery being one of them, and it´s a pitty that once again his words were completely distorted by the Press, and worst, in a newspaper of such importance to Australia as The Daily Telegraph is.

RUSSELL Crowe has stuck the knife into his Quick And The Dead co-star Sharon Stone, saying her newly youthful face has left him struggling to recognise her.

"A lot seems to have changed," he says of Stone, who denies surgery.

"You can end up looking like a startled chimpanzee. The eyes are gone, the lips are like rubber tyres – or more like an orang-utan that has been kicked in the arse." Ouch.

We look forward to Stone's right of reply – which might involve something about phones.

I am wondering if the "writers" of that "column" really heard his interview to 2Day FM, because I am sure, if they did it, such thing would have ever been written, never. Russell in that interview have never said such hideousness about Sharon Stone.

If you take some of your precious time and give the opportunity of listenning to it, you will see that what was said is totally/completelly different from what was written.

As a previous poster has pointed out Crowe actually said no such thing. His words have been completed twisted and lifted out of context, one assumes from mischievous reasons.

Truth and correct quotes are becoming a rare commodity these days. It would be interesting to ask why people are so ready to believe everything they read - especially in a gossip column ?

Crowe needs to shut up, I don't doubt that maybe Sharon's had some botox, but I really don't think she's gone under the knife. She looks the same to me, there is such a thing as taking care of one's self, something Russell crowe should try doing, he's a train wreck. I guess when male actors lose their leading man status they have nothing better to do but talk sh*t about women. Actually, that's pretty gay of him....loser.

That interview actually shows that those idiotic comments were made in relation to Stone BUT INDIRECTLY. Now why doesn't anyone believe her that she didn't go under the knife? She seems to be a very open person who never lied about her age or anything. People just find it easy to hate her - ESPECIALLY BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN. I doubt that a man would receive the same amount of shit from anyone. And that comment that a lot has changed can be also applied to NICOLE KIDMAN - especially to her.
People need to lay off those surgery comments. And don't forget that Stone won a case against a plastic surgeon for falsely claiming she had work done - SHE WON THAT CASE.

God, why does everything have to be questioned - if she says she didn't have it, why don't we accept it? That's the deal with beautiful - and rich - women: everyone said Michelle Pfeiffer, Madonna, Kim Basinger, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman had work done - listen, I can tell you from personal experience that plastic surgery is hardly needed these days. There are so many non-invasive ways to stay young nad preserve one's looks (and some of them include lots of cash - unfortunately for some). Darlings, from what I can tell - judging from Sharon's fabulous body (at almost 50!) - all she had was some Botox around the eyes and the forehead. That's all. She's glowing by the way! If you're physically fit, don't smoke or drink, eat healthy, have the best dermatologist money can buy - THAT'S HOW YOU WOULD LOOK TOO. Get over the jealousy.

Gotta wonder how these Hollywood teen queens will age - I think Madonna and most certainly La Stone-goddess are setting an example.

WOW...The amount of hate this beauty had to endure over these past months...I'm surprised she didn't crumble. Just goes to show how strong and gutsy she is. What is up with the hating-Sharon-Stone, people? What has she done to upset everyone so much? BI2 sucked, but like every film it was the director's responsibility. I think this is all mysoginy at its worst - if a woman isn't a little-miss-proper-goody-two-shoes-I'm-just-tryin'-to-matter, and God forbid if she enjoys her sexuality, especially at that age, she's just not acceptable for society.
