Who knew, Star Jones has fans. While Star Jones was attending the Kentucky Derby this past weekend, she ran into some of her supporters. These people only remind us of why we won't like Star Jones.
"How dare she talk about you and your weight?" one matronly fan told Jones Reynolds, according to a Lowdown spy. "She didn't want anyone talking about her when she was pretending to be straight."Another woman added: "I'm from Arkansas and I watched her show every day. I loved her until she became that mean, raging lesbian. God's going to get her."
A third chimed in: "It's despicable that they are allowing her to promote that stuff on 'The View' now. I won't be watching anymore. At least Ellen [DeGeneres] is tasteful about it."
O'Donnell's PR rep told me, "Rosie never denied she's gay," and otherwise dismissed the complaints. "Everyone is interested in how the show will be in September — the women in flowery hats at the Derby included."
Why can't Star Jones and Rosie O'Donnell just hug it out?
Star hears fans take run at Rosie [Lowdown]

d.c. says:
yeah, it's not gonna be wine and roses, happy free speech, in your face days on public TV. I think once Rosie gets into the show and remembers she has to be considerate of other's morals and feelings, according to ratings.. and the producers take her aside to complain.. she's gonna kick herself in the butt for doing this again.
Anonomus says:
It's interesting that BLOGS sites are so quick to assume that this is true. I mean damn! isn't it a bit interesting that all the people said almost word for word the same damn thing?! I'm not a Star fan, but I know many who are and at the same time not one has a problem (but me) with Rosie coming there either. BT, I just don't like Roseie anymore than I like Star.
tom cruise says:
right rosie never denied it with her huge tom cruise crush and "tommy can you hear me" sound effects.

Wow...that jacket...I have a headache.
diddy says:
Al's smile is just too weird. His expression seems to say "I'm a gay man on the DL married to a rich celeb." Al you are not fooling anyone stop the charade. Al's seeings stars all the way to the bank. He may have had a consultation with David Gest in the past.
Kris says:
Watch out, Star has aspirations to become a highly visible interviewer, solo style. She didn't do a bad job at all when she sat in for Larry King a while back--actually, I was impressed how she handled the panel. (I admit, I was hoping she'd make an ass out of herself.)
As for The View, it's hopeless, I don't care who they replace.
Mr Style says:
Yes Star Jones does have fans and I am one!
PleaseThink says:
Adding Rosie to the show is just the worst move they could of made. She just doesn't fit. Her personality is overbearing, she is sometimes just rude when she thinks she is being funny, plus she is going to look like the Michelin Man sitting with the Kebler Elfs. Her head alone will take up your whole TV screen. I am no big fan of Stars, but at least she fit with the show. She is like the neighbor that you invite to be nice but really most people don't like. Plus she is up to date on current events and like her or not, she is intelligent.
Star Jones says:
I have fans???
countrybabe says:
I agree with you Kris,
I'm surprised that everyone is so lala over Rosie coming to the show. I don't watch "The View" anyway, but I have often wondered why Star was on that show. She can get her own show given her background.
susiegrl says:
". . . God's going to get her."
What...tickets to a show? A good support bra?
Small Fry says:
Damn, Star already beat me to it. I too am surprised this woman has fans. I find absolutley NOTHING to like about her.
Small Fry says:
Oh, and that has got to be THE gayest jacket Al is wearing. Oy.
anti says:
I am sick and tired of hearing about her and about him. Who gives a flying shit what they do. I really don't care, she is in love with herself, and he is as gay as they come, pretending to be in love with her. Bullshit
Anonomus says:
Kris said: regarding Larry King
Hey, I forgot about that, and as a non Star fan, I was kinda waiting for her to flub it up but she was pretty darn good. Maybe she's the kind of personality that needs to be the only one running the show in front of the camera, and asking the questions, but not giving her opinion. She did that well on Larry King.
las says:
Wait... you mean Star has fans?
memphis81 says:
I am sorry but I am a Star Jones fan. She has accomplished a lot in her life and I respect her for being a strong woman that stands firm on what she says. She was the only reason that I watched 'The View' anyway! I cant stand Rosie O'Donnell and I will not be watching that show anymore after Star is gone
Amy says:
Personally I would love to see Rosie come on, a REAL person. Star can find some other venue I am sure to be fake upon. Rosie is REAL and is not afraid to be so, Yeah Rosie!
saintjames says:
Rosie O'Donnell is a vey unhappy and dishonest woman. She wants to take Star to task for not wanting to disclose how she lost her weight but pretended to have a major "crush" on Tom Crusie for months when her talk show was on. Who made her the ethics police? I wish she's shut up and sit down! Why is she in so many people's business. She also had a lot to say about Kirstie Alley's weight. SHUT UP!
gigisobservations says:
I haven't been a huge Star Jones fan, but she has been a part of The View since its inception and I find it really tacky that the show would offer a spot to someone that has been so openly crude and offensive to one of its "family". That speaks volumes about the leadership within The View's ranks and it will spell the demise of that show.
Rosie O'Donnell will change the whole dynamic of that show. Between her and Joy Behar, The View will turn into "Romper Room". I, for one, will not be watching. My prediction, the current fan base will disappear and I don't think that Rude Rosie can replace them. I'd rather watch Regis and Kelly -- even Ellen has more class. I loathe rude/crude people and their supporters. IMO, Star Jones will be the last one laughing....
