Even Paris Hilton was amazed after she collected $200,000 just for showing up at a charity event in Cannes on Saturday. And FoxNews.com's Roger Friedman reports she was paid $1 million for a similar event in Vienna a few weeks ago. What does she have to do for the money? "All I had to do was wave, like this," she said, imitating Queen Elizabeth II's stately palm swivel. Still, some party snobs try to keep Paris out. She was not invited to the Vanity Fair party at Cannes' Hotel du Cap over the weekend.Who said that Paris Hilton doesn't work? She's bound to eventually have arm and wrist injuries as a result of years of waving.

Yay for the "Party Snobs!" And I'd love to know what she's doing with that money she "earned". Since it won't buy her a clue or social graces, I'd love to see it donated to the truly poor, those of us who are worth way less than 7 million.
