Hugh Jackman wants to set the record straight, so to speak. There are a few rumors that he'd like to clear up. He bulked up quite a bit for X-Men, but that was due to his own hard work. Secondly, despite him playing a dancing and singing homosexual on Broadway, he is not himself a homosexual. Got it?
Jackman says: "I would never take steroids, I think nothing is worse. I had to do an hour and a half in the gym every morning."But there were some special effects too, They even managed to make Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart look years younger."
And in regards to the gay rumors . . .

In the past, I've heard interviewers ask him about the gay rumors and he just shrugs and says, "at least they're not accusing me of something I'd be ashamed of..."

Tiny Tom Cruise should take a lesson from Hugh Jackman. Suing magazines over gay rumors only makes you look more in the closet than last seasons shoes!

the simple fact that he addresses the rumors with humor and NO embarrassment is a pretty good indication that he's NOT gay.
people who are in the closet tend to get REALLY mad and sue (ahem, Tom Cruise?) a person or publication that says they're gay. or, they will tell the press that they're not to be asked about that rumor (ahem, clay aiken?).
