When Brandon Davis went off on his "firecrotch" rant about Lindsay Lohan a few weeks ago, little did he know the lasting affects that this tirade would have. Who would have ever thought that his grandmother would have been affected by Davis' Lohan snatch rant?The outburst is affecting a biennial benefit organized by his philanthropist grandmother, Barbara Davis, to raise money for diabetes.
Every year, celebrities are invited to paint ceramic plates, which are auctioned off as original artworks at the Carousel of Hope gala. The A-list event has previously attracted the participation of Madonna, Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé and Jay Leno.
"But this year a number of the plates have come back with some variation of 'firecrotch' written on them," says an insider. "I don't think it's the celebrities themselves who are doing it, but their handlers aren't passing [the plates] on and they think it's hilarious to send them back with 'firecrotch' on them."
It's a blow for the elder Davis, who has raised millions through the benefit.
Right now, I'm loving celebrity handlers. I'd love to see those "firecrotch" plates, and I'm sure you could actually auction those off for a pretty penny.

On another note, being that I am a diabetic, I'm saddened that this fundraiser for diabetes has been marred and has the potential to lose money due to the ignorance of one slimeball.

I have to say, this story of worthy charity being impacted by a self-centered, spoiled douch bag brings it all home. If nothing else, atleast his parents/grandmother are aware that they've created a brat of epic proportions.

I say if Granny Davis loses any money for this gig (and do you really think anyone cares about the art on these things? they'll sell like firecakes).... Brandon ponies up some of his inheritance, like say $8 million.

As funny as this is, it's still kind of disappointing. Ms. Davis's charitable work is ruined because of her idiot grandson's rantings.

Chrisase, Brandon would have to give up more than 8 million. Someone worth $7 mil is "poor", so $8 mil would be, what, pocket change left over from buying a gas store burrito to him? I'm thinking a nice sum of $25 mil.

As much as I would like to see the young Mr. Davis on a milk carton, I don't really know that Granny has the authority to "cut off' his cash flow. Trusts are frequently set up when children are infants, and no one knows or expects that they will grow up to be poopchutes like he has.
My guess is that the trust, or at least a part of it, is in his own name and is beyond Grannys or anyones control...If she had the control it might not have come to this stage where his antics hurt her causes, which is just about the highest faux pas in society...
