Something fishy is definitely going on. I think the brat was born in February, Kate faked the pregnancy until April (a coincidence that Suri Cruiseand Grier Shields were born on the same day? I think not). They will wait until she is "6" months old to bring her out in public but she'll actually be 8 months old. Since babies grow and develop at remarkable varied rates at that point it would hard to tell her actual age.
It's just a theory.

Why does Katie Holmes always have on some baggy jacket? Does she have to now hide her figure? And why does she always wear the same ugly black flats. Can't she afford some pretty sandals? It is summer in Hollywood, isn't it? Kelly Preston is a Scientologist and she's not ugly. Neither is the girl from King of Queens...whatever her name is. What's up with Katie? she isn't even wearing an engagement ring - are they really engaged? Also does it look like she has a cold sore - she is always getting those. They are signs of stress and anxiety. I feel so bad for her.

Why is it so strange for a very public couple to want to keep their child (and personal life) very private. I don't find that strange at all. Now Tom's behavior this past year, now THAT's been strange....

I heard a rumor that Katie found out that she was pregnant by someone else shortly after meeting Tom but he decided to adopt the baby and claim it...I didn't believe it at first but now that they have been acting so strange about bringing the baby out in public I am starting to think that there may be some truth to it...Perhaps the baby came out with blonde hair and blue eyes....or perhaps she came out Asian.

Either way I am sure Tom has a very convincing story that will grace the cover of each magazine and interrupt my regularly scheduled program for an important "Tom and Katie update."

There is no Suri people---they cant show you a baby cause there isnt one. It was a PR stunt that went to far. It started w/ just a little hype about a "new celebrity couple" and then they thought they would steam it up by making them engaged (keeping in mind they both had movies premiering), and hell, why not make a baby? Scientologists have no issues with pre marital sex.

Think about it-why would Katie need to "accidently" show a nursing bra? And why would all of their major personal events occure right before something either one of them needed to promote? Why would Suri and Grier be born on the same day? Why was Katies baby always in some wierd lump on her body during "pregnancy"?

nice guesses, but the reason the world hasn't seen suri is because the parents haven't either.

new scientology parents are not allowed to have any sort of contact with their newborns for a period of time following their birth. in fact, once babies are delivered, scientologist parents are basically supposed to wrap them in blankets and leave them alone. this contradicts basically everything on the books about parenting, which suggests (based on observation of orphans - for instance - in foreign and generally horrific poor and understaffed orphanages where children are pretty much fed and ignored) that human touch is SO important.

If that's the case, then good one! If not, then I would like to express my opinion that the reason why it's strange is because the couple prostituted the belly pics and the pregnancy and the "birth" for days and weeks and months on end. Suddenly, when the happy day finally arrives, there's no more. Every other celebrity couple that's had a baby, and made far less of an effort to make sure the pregnancy was in the public eye, has published pics. Willingly.

The thing is, TomKat was doing all sorts of marketing to make sure that people around the world invested in them emotionally and financially, both before and during the pregnancy. Either they don't understand that people expect a return on that investment, OR the pregnancy was fake. Given that one half of the couple is the very media-savvy Tom Cruise, I find it hard to believe that option 1 is remotely possible. Their actions since the "birth" of Suri are a big F-YOU to all their fans and others who were interested in their lives during this past long year.

Forget pics of the baby, how can a new mom leave their newborn baby so often? It's not natural and thats what's most suspiscious. If they just wanted to hide their baby from the public eyewouldn't katie be with the baby? If there is a baby suri then tomkat are about the shittiest parents ever.

the comments about the scientology "parenting" methods are the most accurate. they try to ensure their children cannot bond with other humans, by ignoring them. that's also why they do the "silent birth" thing. scientology children are also poorly educated to avoid any rebellion against the cult.

I See Conspiracies, that is exactly my theory too!! She had that baby way before that movie premiere. They'll put Suri out on display when you won't really be able to tell how old she is. Those last few weeks of her "pregnancy" was complete crap. Tom Cruise is the lowest human being ever, and quite frankly Katie is as well because she sold her soul to the devil.
