My favorite cable news programs have been busy this week flooding my mind with the usual "killers & rapists on the loose" stories along with the staple "we are still at war" commentary.
However, there were a couple shocking moments this week that made me pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. I could hardly believe what I was hearing coming from my television set.
The First Shocking Moment- Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Bill O'Reilly are allies. What could possible bring these vastly different individuals together? A boycott - of course. The Kings of Boycott, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, have decided to boycott oil company British Petroleum for pilfering against consumers while they get a $20 million padding. Why BP? The claim that Jackson and Sharpton makes is that BP gets 30 percent of the money African Americans spend on gas, yet the company doesn't have any black senior managers or senior vice presidents and only a few black-owned gas stations. Why are Sharpton and Jackson trying to recruit Bill O'Reilly into their boycott? I assume the plan is to align with another King of Boycott just to make sure all political bases are covered on both sides.
A who is boycotting who is after the jump.
With so much boycotting going on these days, it is getting more and more difficult to give the King of Boycott title to just one person. It's definitely open to debate who should hold the title so I have decided to do a tiny boycott tally and have you decide for yourself.
- Jesse Jackson Boycotts: Anheuser Busch, Toyota, Revlon, The movie "Barbeshop", IBM, and Mitsubishi
- Al Sharpton Boycotts: See Jesse Jackson boycotts and add KFC, the City of Cincinnati, several media outlets, and the movie "Friday After Next"
- Bill O'Reilly Boycotts: France, Canada, Aruba, Mexico, Pepsi, The Superbowl, and Exxon
As the week comes to an end, I have decided to launch my own boycott against boycotts. When did boycotting because our nations favorite past time? The Vatican launched a boycott against The Da Vinci Code and a recent internet search revealed boycotts against Microsoft, Recording Industry Association of America, Sony, Amazon.com, Nike, The War, Ford, Gillette, Delta, Hollywood, Starbucks, Toys-R-Us...

I have to say the picture you use for this segment of your website really disturbs me every time I see it. I keep thinking the finger is a penis and someone at work will see it. It's really kind of gross.
