It seems that Lost, Desperate Housewives and a slew of last year's winners at the Emmys were not nominated this year. The 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced today, leaving a bunch of past Emmy winners in the cold.
What does this all mean?
Well, lucky for you, I have some Emmy predictions. Teri Hatcher is going to have to kick it up a notch if she really wants keep herself in the public consciousness, which I'm sure she does. Expect 2 Oprah interviews, "exclusive" interviews with Vogue, Vanity Fair and Star Magazine, more weight loss and a highly publicized "romance" with Ricky Martin, which will involve a few strategic kisses on the beach, whilst he prances around his European bathing suit and she doesn't eat.
Gotta love Emmy season.

Not surprised about the fall from favor of DH, but what the hell happened to Lost? I'm surprised at the lack of big nods for Big Love, too. And House for Best Drama, but no Hugh Laurie? Thank God for the nom for Jaime Pressley - role of a lifetime on Earl.

Did you all read the leak yesterday of emails coming from Ryan Seacrest between hi and his PR dude-- apparently they set Teri Hatcher up with that whole crap kiss beach picture? He is queer as a $3 bill, she had no clue, and so he milked it- staged the whole thing. Used her like a two-dollar-whore on half price night.
Listen, I love my gays. But when gays are willing to hurt people- any people even obnoxious neurotic anorexics tv actresses- just to stay in the closet then I have a problem.
(Six Feet Under rocks- best show HBO ever did- including Sopranos which had a SUCK season this year).

And why the hell hasn't Lost been nominated? The second wasn't as good as the first, but it was still head and shoulders above anything else on network TV.

What about Entourage in the comedy category?? Last season was so great and Jeremy Piven is awesome!!! I am disapointed that Lost didn't get a nomination..oh well...Desperate kinda disappointing this season I can see why they were passed over!

I agree Tansy, This has been the best year for Lost. I'm glad about DH, nobody even talks about it anymore. The media props them up. What are the ratings for that show now?
