Now that Jen Aniston beat out Angelina, I wonder how many people are going to start screaming and calling her Maniston, pathetic and other names just because some like her type of looks more than Angie's?

Personally, I'm not surprised by this list at all: the Brits like down-to-earth women with a sense of humour.

Oops, now people are going to start yelling that AJ is way more down-to-earth because she colonized a whole country to have her baby in Africa, and flies in and out of the Third World adopting human pets - wait until they talk back, Angie!

But you can't claim a sense of humour for AJ, sorry! :)

Lohan is so incredibly average it defies belief. I quite literally went to high school (from LI, like Lohan, not that it matters) with girls who had far more "star power" than this typical NY suburbs dud. Enough with this girl already. The one way I do not agree with you is in the beauty of Aniston thing. She's aight. Not exactly seething exotic-ness or sexuality.

Where the hell is Natalie Portman on these lists, by the way? Understated and low key and yet stunning. Works for me. Add Hilary Swank to that, as well. Two actresses who have been sought out and photographed by some of the finest photographers in the world, for a reason. They're both far and away more charismatic, serene, elegant and attractive than any one of the anorexic Bosworths-Richies-Hiltons-Olsons-blah-blah-blah put together. Let the Maxim-wannabe photog hacks have at 'em and leave us alone, already. Enough.

It's true: where are natalie portman and hilary swank? Perhaps they are too intellectual? And what about actresses like Monica Bellucci and Audrey Tautou?

As for Jennifer Aniston, well not every person is going to be everyone's cup of tea, so to speak. But she obviously has charm, character and presence or else she would not have become a star like she did, and that too without the cookie cutter appearance favoured in Hollywood. Being beautiful isn't all about oozing sexuality, it really is about what is within and how it comes out. I saw an interview with her after the announcement of her separation from Brad Pitt, and she just was so graceful and charming that the interviewer was just floored and practically babbling. Now that's stunning.

Alex, I agree. Angelina is not sitting at home worrying about what # she is on a beauty poll. I really don't think it matters to her if she's #1 or #100.

This list is a joke, where are the black celebs... like Thandie Newton, or Halle Berry, Stacey Dash.Also Jennifer isn't attractive in my opinion ( mannish chin, boxer nose, beady eyes) if the Brits think that is beautiful, so be it, but what can I say for a country that makes twigs like Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and Posh Spice...icons.Most Men would say Jessica Alba and Scarlett are x10 better looking then Jennifer and Scarlett has curves were Jennnifer doesn't.
