Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were left embarrassed during an African charity tour because the locals didn't know who they were. The 'SexyBack' singer revealed that when they visited a tiny Tanzanian village and saw the locals celebrating the celebrity couple mistakenly thought it was a welcome party for them. Justin revealed to Britain's OK magazine: "We weren't sure why the people were celebrating. First we thought it was because they recognised us, but we found out they didn't have a clue who we were. "They were celebrating because they finally had a well with drinking water. There are some places where being famous doesn't mean anything! It was a very humbling experience."
What I WISH Justin would have said was, "What? You don't recognize me? I'm the guy who's trying to bring sexy back. Duh!" OR, he could have used this opportunity to become a dance-off hustler in a place where he can actually go undercover.
