Despite the high tension between feuding mother and daughter, it seems like the Aaron Spelling tribute at the Emmys went off with a minimal amount of awkwardness. Candy and Tori Spelling both attended the awards show, but opted to maintain rows of distance between them. Both of them were moved to tears by the tribute, which included speeches from many stars from Aaron Spelling's illustrious past. From The Daily Mail:

The original Charlie's Angels stars - Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Kate Jackson - also reunited on screen for the first time to bid a tearful farewell to the producer who made them famous. "I'm sure he's looking down on us and smiling on us, knowing he brought us together as only he could," Smith said as Candy Spelling wiped away tears in the crowd. Joan Collins (Dynasty), Stephen Collins (7th Heaven) and Heather Locklear (Melrose Place) also paid special tributes to the late producer. Locklear called him a "warm, generous and loving man" who was always deemed more famous than his shows.

The only thing that could have made the tribute more warm and memorable would have been Andy Dick licking Farrah Fawcett's face. Oh wait. Actually, that would just have been gross and inappropriate. Under any circumstances.

Although she looks like my dog's ass, that is FARAH FAWCETT. Not Cheryl Ladd (who should be deeply offended because Ms. Fawcett is a hot mess).

Farah

Farrah Fawcett IS Charlie's Angels, girlygirl's post makes no sense. Cheryl Ladd was never the phenomenon Farrah was. Even though Farrah was a regular for only one year she has come to represent the whole series. It was Farrah's poster that sold 12 million copies, not Cheryl's. Farrah is comparable with the likes of a Marilyn Monroe and is an American Icon as well as an admired actress who is still beloved by many.
