In what is probably one of the most normal and expected turns in the Jennifer Aniston-Brangelina situation, we manage to somehow find a story worth writing about. From The Daily Mail:
I can report that Jennifer who blames Angelina for the breakdown of her marriage to Brad Pitt after they struck up a close friendship on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, has had several conversations with the Tomb Raider actress. The 37-year-old Friends star was reportedly snubbed by Angelina when she called to congratulate the couple on the birth of their daughter Shiloh three months ago. But it seems motherhood may have softened Ms Jolie. "Angelina has had several conversations with Jennifer," says a friend of the actress and UN ambassador. "Jennifer is still close to Brad's parents and Angelina has accepted she is part of Brad's past in the same way her ex-husband, Jonny Lee Miller, is part of hers. She has no problem with Brad speaking to his ex. "On occasions when Jennifer has called Brad, Angelina has answered his phone. From what I hear, she is friendly. While neither is going to pour out their hearts to the other, they are perfectly civil."

Jennifer just can not move on. The staying close to Brad's parents ensures that she stays in his "life". I don't know if this is true or not but Angelina owes Jennifer nothing. Marriages break-up everyday for a variety of reasons and the fact that Brad was not happy at home (so they say) is not Angelina's fault and you can not help who you fall for. Jen can blame who she wants but there are two sides to everything and Brad has not even spoke about what she is like and why he wasn't happy.

Just because you divorce someone does not mean you divorce families too. They were married for years and apparently Jen became close with Brad's mom and if they continue to speak it just shows that they are all being mature about the situation. Just as the article states, Angie is close with her ex-husband as well. What's the big deal? This isn't a bizarre situation, it happens. I know people who have divorced and have friendly relationships with their ex's and their families. They even take vacations together, and no, there are no kids involved.

This is what I find REALLY scary. People (like one of the above commenters) who (a) believe these stories; (b) are emotionally invested in them; and (c) act like they personally know the people involved.
