Paris Hilton Pulls a Mel Gibson

Parisarrives090706

The DUI thing, and not the anti-semetic rant. Paris Hilton was arrested Thursday night in Hollywood, and charged with driving under the influence. TMZ had has all the details:

TMZ has learned LAPD officers noticed Paris driving her Mercedes McLaren SLR erratically at 12:31 AM and stopped her. They believed she exhibited signs of intoxication. We're told they administered a field sobriety test, and Paris blew a .08. In California, driving with a .08 blood alcohol level is the minimum level for DUI.

Paris was arrested and taken to the LAPD Hollywood division, where she was booked. The officers who stopped the car did not know it was Paris Hilton until they approached the vehicle on foot. Police sources say she was cooperative. Paris had a passenger in the car -- Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's daughter.

Nicky Hilton arrives at police station: Click to watch Nicky Hilton, her boyfriend, "Entourage" star Kevin Connolly and her publicist Elliot Mintz arrived at the Hollywood police station just before 2 AM PST. A short time later, Paris was released on her own recognizance and allowed to leave.

Cops took a booking photo, which and LAPD spokesperson says will not be released. An LAPD source would not confirm it Paris glammed it up for the camera, but revealed "It doesn't look like Nick Nolte."

Paris claims that she had only one drink, and had not eaten anything all day long. She took two breathalyzer tests that we can assume she failed, due to the fact that she was arrested. Paris had one thing to say about the incident: she "regrets it occurred." TMZ has video of her publicist Eliot Mintz spinning his own spin on the fact that she had a .80.

Dear Lauren Burch,

Good job on completely hacking the spelling and grammar in your piece. I still don't understand WHY bloggers don't quickly scan and edit their work before submitting it. I mean, every other respected writer would do so, so why shouldn't you?

And these aren't simple little grammare and spelling mistakes that I chose to pick out for the sheer purpose of bothering you. Observe: "She took tow breathalyzer tests, we are assuming she failed since she was arrested. Paris has one this to say about the incident: she "regrets it occurred.""

Were YOU drunk when you wrote this?

Good job.

Dear Giovanni-Paolo,

It's "grammar", not "grammare".

Good job... not really.

Children stop fighting.

I'm actually really glad that deeelite failed to realize the point of my post, and the fact that I spelled grammar right the first time (without the slip of my finger which very rationally resulted in the extra 'e' at the end of the word the second time)

Lauren is writing for a blog and finishing off her entries with the classic "written by" send off, depicting a piece of formal writing.

I posted a comment.

Try putting two and two together idiot.

I love putting idiots in their place, it makes time just fly on by at work.

=)

I think I should be hired as a permanent editor to your pieces Lauren.

=)

Gio - What kind of bottom feeder job do you have, that in order to make yourself feel superior, you pick on a blog's grammatical errors and typos?
